I am looking into an alarm system for my RK. We plan to travel a good bit this year and I am a little uncomfortable with leaving my ride outside a hotel with nothing other than a fork and iginition lock. Does anyone have any experience with a particular brand or general comments?

HD's alarm works well, get the pager for notification and the siren for noise.

I have an immobilizer and it works well but they went out of business and the designer took them over, not sure if they have a web site still or not.

The new Scorpio systems work very well. The siren is LOUDER than #$@$@! If you cannot hear that a half block away, you need to get some hearing aids. Has a pager, remote set options, factory type connectors etc. These have been the most popular alarms since Immobilizer disappeared.
