| Steering to the right I went on a ride today and noticed that when going straight down the road the bars were a little to the right. I was sighting on top of the tank and looking at the bottom triple clamp. There wasn't much wind so wasn't leaning into the wind. My tires are in good shape with only 2650 miles on them. They are set a proper air pressure. Can steering get out of alignment? I also noticed last year that I have a dent in the top of the front fender. The paint isn't chipped or scratched. It is in line with the edge of the lower triple clamp. That shouldn't be able to hit the fender without bottoming out. Maybe both are related. The bike goes down the road fine but seems alittle wobbly in corners. This should be a warranty issue but hope to have some ammo before I take it in. The steering angle is what worries me the most. The steering head bearings were adjusted at 1000 mile service. Any info is appreciated.

| i don't know about the street glide but my Dyna used to pull to the right and it turned out to be the motor wasn't aligned in the frame properly, and the "A" mechanics at the stealership couldn't figure it out.....don't know if this will help you though. |

| I took bike in today. The moco will ride it and then tell me if it needs work. The tech said that the gas tank might be misaligned and making the bars look crooked. Will see what they come up with. I only have 2650 miles on bike and alignment was checked at 550. Hope it goes well.

| Bike is done but haven't gotten it yet. I was told warranty only covers one neck bearing adjust but only have to pay for half hour labor so I don't feel so bad. They said bearing was to tight, they ran shock pressure from 10 to 30 psi. I don't know what that will do. I usually run 15 to 20 psi. They also checked tire pressure. I'm very careful about maintaining proper pressure. They also adjust handle bars but told me it can be on optical illusion how the bars go into the inner fairing. That doesn't make sense when on right side I can slide my pinkie in between the fairing and bar by the grommet and can't slide finger in between on the other side. I did get it from the service guy that the tech went to an undisclosed speed and took hands off bar and said the bike went straight and true. The bike never allowed me to do that, I know that is a dumb thing to do but wanted to try it anyway. I just want a bike that goes down the road good. I does seem that I'm hearing a lot a negative feedback about harley and their service. I don't honestly know if I would buy another one. Thanks for the info.

| Just a couple of other things, the way that the fairings mounts there is alot of room to adjust it around os it may not be perfect. also the bushing in the handle bar mounts may be tweaked to on side this usualy happen when locking forks. if bike is pulling to one side with hands off for you check a couple of things, I know this will sound like BS but, take the wallet out off your back pocket make sure your are centered on the seat and ride it again. the other thig is to have a friend ride behind you and see if you are sitting straight up on the MC. 30 psi is tomuch air unless you are packing 400lbs on the back. if your solo with no load in the bags 30 will feel like a rigid.

| I picked bike up on thursday and rode home in 40plus wind gusts and bike did just fine. They adjusted bars and steering neck bearing and it feels good. I did use cruise on the way home and all worked well. Glad to have the bike back. Enjoy the long weekend.

| The bars and tank seemed to be aligned correctly. Then again I may have been compensating for wind gusts. I do know that the bike rode way better after being tuned than when I rode it to the dealer, also a very windy day. Will ride it and see how it works out and lower rear shock psi.
