New pipes

I'm looking for dual pipes for my 1989 heritage softail, any recomendations, and is there any other modifications i need to do to the bike if i do this myself? Thanks... Andy

i really like my thunderheader, its really deep and roars,not crackly like some others i have heard, jmo.i have an 88 80ci

When you say dual do you mean

True duals (one each side)

Stock duals (both on same side)

If your not doing any other upgrades you really don't won't tru-duals stick to slip on mufflers or a complete set but in stock configuration!
I like my Kerker's like 1988flhtc i like the rumble - more than loud and harsh

Model: '90 FLSTC '03 FLHPI
I put the Kerker Crossover duals on my '90 Heritage only had to drill and tap for the left side muffler mounting bracket. A complete set of instructions came with the exhaust system, not a hard job at all.
