Noticed when I stopped for a break today that I had a small amount of grease on my left hand (along the outer edge) also a small amount on my jacket cuff. I saw what looked like grease "spray" on the clutch lever. I wiped it off and drove for about an hour longer and everything remained clean.....any ideal's where this grease may have come from? I didn't think there was anything in that hand grip area that was actually greased.....I have an 2005 883 low.

Motorcycle + pavement = dirt/grime/grease. Relax if you ride more than a few miles at a time you will get road-crap on you. You will know it if you spring a leak. Relax and enjoythe ride.

the pivot pin bushing in the lever should be lubed as well as the clutch cable but you may have caught something in the wind
