| Have ridden with both, but belong to none. Being true independent allows me to ride and not worry about "associations" between organizations.... my own thoughts of course! |

| Yeah I know what you mean. I joined up with H.O.G. just to see what it was like and take advantage of some of the rider training/skills programs. Good bunch of folks, they are. A few local chapters in the area are interested in me prospectin' with 'em, and I'm giving it some serious consideration. Always kinda nice to ride with those you agree with, yanno? Not impossible, but gettin' a little harder to be a true independent anymore. Stayed that way for about 17 years, still pretty much ride on my own alot, and when I want.

| Tried it over the years but,you may as well join the Good Neighbor Sam Club because all that goes on is eating and drinking, not much riding. Dutch |

| i think that as in everything there are exceptions......the 2 hog clubs i belong to rack a ton of miles each year. there is eating and drinking, but that is after the runs. the riding season here is longer than most, i have ridden 3 times this week.....if the club you belong to isnt what you like, try another. most all the dealers have their associate clubs, and for the most part are all pretty friendly, if you participate.,,,,,jmho
