I'm going to buy a new tranny and Direct Parts has a very good price. The tranny is expensive and I have never purchased from Direct Parts. I would apreciate any feedback form anyone who has purchased from direct Parts.

Howdy,
I recently bought a Mustang seat from DP. The transaction was smooth and it was shipped when they said it would (Mustang takes a bit of extra time cause Mustang wont drop ship but they explained that BEFORE I paid so no big deal). Well you can tell what a company is really about not for when everything goes right but when theres a snafu. The box went out with the wrong address. Ups couldn't find the street. I emailed them Dp about 1800 my time. They called me the same evening and then called UPS and got everything straight and I got my seat the next day. Anybody can make a mistake. It is how they deal with them and how they treat you that counts. That was our first purchase from DP, but it sure won't be the last. Fine folks, GREAT SERVICE, and good prices....you can't go wrong with them.

I recently bought a Mustang Seat from DP. It's on the way to me now. Also bought an extended brake pedal.
I went on to Mustang's own web site and could've ordered it direct from them, but, DP's price was actually cheaper. I saved about $65. Additionally, I went back in to the site and ordered a seat bracket that I may need. They were cool about it because they included it in with the first order so I didn't pay the extra shipping.
I think DP is better than J&P also as far as prices go.

Geno, I recently was a first time buyer from DP. I was a bit nervous on a larger purchase (and I wasn't even buying a tranny) also. Just bought a Pro Pipe from them. Best price in America. Order was processed quickly and accurately. The pipe came when the said it would and in perfect condition, with all its appropriate hardware. I believe you will be happier here at DP than you ever will at J&P. But that's just my "satisfied customer" opinion!

These guys are the best. Great customer service and tech support. I spent 15 minutes on the techline with Sam the other day, he helped me decide on a fuel management system for wife's new bike.

DP's prices beat J&P hands down.

I've read opinions on other forums, DP always gets good reviews, can't say the same for a lot of other vendors.

Ordered a headlight from DP about three months ago, it was here before I realized it would be and got to use it for a trip I hadn't thought I would be able to.

Thanks DP!!

I've purchased a few things from DP as well. Good service, good prices no complaints. They also have some pretty good sales in the Hot Deals section. That's where I got my last Mikuni carb from.

To me it isnt so much how people I do business with handle normal things it is how they handle a snafu. When I odered my seat from DP the addy got screwed up. The carrier had the seat but they couldnt find the place.
The folks at Dp called me, called the carrier and called who knows to get it straightened out. Did I mention that by the time this had come to our attention it was past closing time? And that they stuck with it instead of waiting til the next day? Yep. Thats what happened Impressed me big time ....you can count on them .
