However, experience has shown that announcing your plans to the universe is tempting fate to caca on them.

Hence, it’s...
A lot of things have changed since I decided that I was going to put a new engine in my Glide, things such as displacement, cam choice and using the stock cases vs. buying brand new ones. These decisions were all based on the fact that I was intending on having a new bike by now but instead I bought my wife a really nice bike, so my way of thinking is that I am going to build...
You have decided it is time to perform your own maintenance on your bike. You have even considered making a few engine modifications yourself. Old rear shocks getting a bit rusty and am sick of them bottoming out and banging on big road bumps, even when wound to max
So am looking at getting new rear shocks plus front springs.

Now Progressive do these fancy 990’s with external reservoir and linear springs, and then the 440 series that are traditional shape and Progressive springs
I weigh in at about 200lbs
I often ride solo.
But I do often ride two up, with panniers and rear bag. That puts all up...
Stock mirrors up a smidge which is better as now I can see them in the corner of my eye instead of looking down. Arms straight out just shy of shoulder height. Much more comfortable.
