| Just a quick note to let all you guys know that I delivered AFNurse safe and sound to the Frankfurt International Airport in Frankfurt Germany. His flight should be leaving here locally in about 15 more minutes. Poor guy had to do some waiting at the airport today but god willing he will be in San Antonio this evening around 8pm local SA.
So guys I have done my part and tried to keep him out of trouble over here in Yurp. It is now up to all the Texas members here to take over now.
On this note I would like to take the time to thank AFNurse for everything. He is a great guy and if you meet him you will know why I like hanging out with him. He is just great to be around.
He and I spent part of the 4th of July at Rammstein Air Force Base in Germany. I had the honor of meeting some of the people in his unit. These are the people taking care of our injured soldiers coming back from Afgahnistan, Iraq and so on. What a great group of people doing a Vital job for the injured soldiers!!!
AFNurse ride on!!! Ride Hard!!! It was nice having you here Bro!!! Hope to ride with you again in the good old US of A!!!!!

| Gimme a PM when you read this, dude. I can head up for some hill country riding if and when you get your bike. I'm still sitting on the fence about whether to make it out to Springerville or go race for the championships at the final TMGP race. I'm leading three classes in points again and the last race weekend is always special, the year end awards and such. Maybe you can talk some sense into me over a beer or something, LOL. I hate to miss either, so whatever I do, I'm gonna lose, dangit. |

Hopefully the final race won't be needed to clinch the points and allow for an easier decision. This is going to be the best BikeTalk ride to date from all indications though and would love to have you out there. |

| .but seriously now...I know how you feel , i hope you make it to the ride..but if you don't..I know the drill but let it be the chase for the title and not the worry about paying for the accomodations in Arizona stop you. I hope you make it and bring AFNurse with you..sounds like a stout fellow |

| I to understand Goose, would love to see you again but understand. Would really like to meet AFnurse sounds like a real good guy. Really looking forward to this trip: meeting up with Bob in Idaho and then SK in Flagstaff and the rest in Springerville. Been wanting to do a road trip like this for years and think this is going to shape up to one great ride. |

| Well, Here I am....back in the USA. Only one problem that I see right now....my scoot is still in a crate someplace between Ramstein Germany and San Antonio, TX...... No riding yet for a while!!! As to the Bike Talk Ride....not sure I will make it as my wife's family is talking about driving down for a visit over Labor Day weekend..... not to mention that I won't know what my work schedule will be until end of Aug/first of sept! I check into the unit 5 Aug, but my school doesn't start until 17 Aug. Probably won't know my school schedule until that day! Oh well..... Hopefully I would be able to make next years ride...this year just isn't looking promising! Anyone that knows any good day trips departing out of SA, sing out! I am hoping that after the bike gets here, and time permitting, I will have time to do a few day trips! |
