I just wanted to share this with all of you. We went on a charity Poker run this past weekend for Cerebral Palsy, specifically a little boy named Tyler. This was the 6th annual run for the cause.

456 riders made a showing this year. There was tremendous support from the locals along the way and from the Police and Fire offials from the different towns that provided escorts and support, many of which donated there time. Some even showed on there own rides and proceeded on the rest of the run with us.

I have been on several charity runs but there seemed to be a lot more support during this one, especially form onlookers and local police and fire departments. People were setting up chairs, bringing out there children, offering up drinks, holding up we love Tyler signs all along way. I've never seen so many people support a motorcycle run like this. We even had a police escort complete with sirens from the border of one town to the check in point. In another town, there were two ladder trucks set up over the road with a huge "6th Annual Tyler Run" sign strung between the extended ladders so we had to ride under it.

We covered over 150 miles in total and received the same support from beginning to end even though it was a very hot and humid day where people would normally have been seeking some refreshing AC . It was a very impressive showing. Maybe a little more so for me since I have a nephew who also has CP.

I was so impressed that I'm thinking about organizing a run of my own next year with most of the money going to the different organizations that have helped my nephew, Justin, over the years and maybe a little to go towards a new wheelchair for him. I'll have to get some advice and ideas from some of the people that helped with this one.

I justed wanted to share this with everyone. It's not every day you see so many people come out and give so generously.

Thanks for reading and ride safe!
