I sorta like the US military version. No chrome, all business. Add a couple of u bolted on 20mm ammo cans for saddle bags, good to go! LOL! Yeah, I know, 0-60 in a week and a half, but hey, it does over 90 and it'll get 100 mpg!!!!! Diesels are stone simple. Sure don't have to worry about an ignitor box going out! For a guy with a GoldWing, the wiring harness would be a breath of fresh air! Bet it'd pull a trailer, and I could weld up a trailer hitch, just paint it olive drab!

I'd been thinking I'd like an "adventure tourer" as with the V Strom Suzukis, BMW GS, etc. This thing is obviously a KLR650 Kawasaki with a diesel motor. I might even sell the Wing for it. The wing is aweful comfy in cold weather, though.

Anyway, I think it's kinda neat. Probably cost as much as a Ultra Glide or a new Wing. That might be the big wrench in the gears.

The history on this thing, the NATO nations wanted a military motorcycle that would run on diesel. They wanted that for several reasons. It's not as volitile as gas in the case of a bullet striking the tank. But, also, because all other military hardware runs on either JP5 or Diesel, a logistics thing. This company has decided to offer it on the civilian market. It's sorta the "Hummer" of motorcycles.

Kick starting a 650cc diesel in the winter is for young folks.
It looks kinda-sorta like the old Rotax/Harley military bike, if you turn your head sideways and squint.
