Hello everyone.I was wanting to build a stretched sporster with a 40 degree
rake. The stretch I want to be a 4 inch stretch in the swingarm and I also want it to accomodate a 200mm tire.I guess my first question is can this be done and if so where would I obtain a belt for this bike?Next about the struts would I have to stretch them or the backbone of the frame to make this right?Next I was wondering about the shocks would they have to be moved down the struts to be connected to the ends of the swingarm? One other thing I wnt to know where I can find a 23",80 spoke front rim.
Dear friends if any of you can give me any insight onthis subject I would greatly appreciate it and would be more than happy to help you in return if at all possible.

Thank You Very Much

i have a question, have you ever undertaken this type of fabrication before? it is a pretty complex operation. when finished it must go down the hiway in a straight line, and do it safely. your welding skills need to be first class. what you are attempting to do is feasable.
to obtain a belt, i would research the manufactures of drive belts, with a final length and width you require.
modifing or building new struts would be the simplest route.
if the swing arm is of sufficiant strength, they may not need to be moved.......but you may want to move them to get the correct ride hight you want.
as for the wheel, i would contact wheel manufactures to find out dia, and width you require.
hope thishelps........
