I'll have to agree with FLHTbiker, no porn for me. I,ve seen it ruin several families.

Well, personally I would grab the DVD. I don't think that porn or booze or gambling or whatever breaks up families. People make active decisions to do that. Just like a firearm never loaded itself and whispered in anyones ear "Let's go kill somebody". unless of course it was a firearm in Steven Kings house..........Ride Free

Well said, GreyBear.

"Porn doesn't ruin families—people ruin families."

"I'd rather be tried by twelve than ****ed by six."

"They'll take my porn when they pry it from my cold, dead. . ." on second thought, maybe we shouldn't go there.

GreyBear,
I agree with you porn, gambling, drugs, booze, whatever doesn't ruin families, it's the addiction to them that does. JMO, We don't start doing something so we can become addicted to it, it just kinda happens over time. Again, JMO.

Big Ben, you're killin' me, son! ROFLMFAO! My sides hurt now.

Uh, and, well, my name is Goose and I'm addicted to sex... Well, I don't know, might not be an addiction, but I can't seem to go too long without it for some reason... The wife don't seem to mind, though. Hasn't hurt my marriage or anything.

It ain't a bad show. I don't know if all the pre oscar hype about it was true. not a great movie but not a bad story. What I enjoyed about it was it was filmed around Calgary, Beiseker, Crossfield, Kannanaskis..[where the mountains are] I really enjoyed seeing my back yard through someone else's eyes..the scenery was beautiful. The story line was interesting..cowboy culture is pretty macho, this was something a little out there. It isn't a graphically explicit movie..that's not what the movie's about. A guy I work with is pure cowboy..raced horses raises horses and does some farming. His boy is a cowboy. They're not into the guy on guy thing..nor am I, but the story line is there...I enjoyed the movie, I don't want to be the body double here.

True no one starts out thinking they are gonna become addicted. I didn't. When I was a kid I figured I could just get a motorcycle and ride it sometimes. But I am sure you are familar with the rest of the story. Soon it was riding every day. And when the weather was really bad, spending time in the garage either wrenching or polishing or maybe just sittin on the ****ed thing in some sort of psychedelic like haze caused by semi chrome and saddle soap fumes. Getting the shakes at work when the sun was bright and you would hear a V twin roll past. Needing that high, wanting that fix so bad until you finally were off work and could fondle your baby again. Crank her up and feel her rumble, catch the wind and grin idiotically from the sheer rush of it. Budgetting your money around new chrome goodies and performance parts.
I even tried BA (Bikers Annonamous) but someone would ride to the meetings and there ya went falling off the wagon into the exhaust fumes and throttle blipping again...........Ride Free

Haven't seen the movie yet. My friend Kim bought the DVD and I plan on watching it when I get the chance..just to see what all the hoopla's about. While I know most bikers and cowboys (who have a lot in common by the way) are a pretty macho group..the fact of life is gays exist and are part of our society, including bikers and cowboys. My addage is..don't bother me and I won't bother you. We can all get along.

Cowboys..sheepherders..wouldn't know as I haven't seen the movie yet, but I'm going to. I'm not so macho that a little diversity isn't going to bother me. It's supposed to be a **** good movie, that's why I'll watch it.
