Been articles on it in "Motorcyclist" magazine. It's an American startup sport bike. It has a rather unique V engine (twin I think, can't remember) that uses contra-rotating cranks to cancel torque reaction inputs. I don't really remember much detail. I think it has some sort of odd front suspension design or something or was adjustable for rake trail, heck, I just kinda skimmed the article, can't remember a lot of detail. I think the guy's up in the north west if I remember right, ex racer/engineer, sort of an Eric Buell type that thinks he has a better idea. I think they're planning to race it and develop a street version. That might be a better marketing strategy in the sport bike world. If they can get some wins and make a splash in AMA, all they need do is put lights on it and the new converts will come, I can guarantee it, LOL Sport bike sales is driven by racing and there has been a hole in the market for a successful American sport bike for a while. HD knew that with the VR1000. They wouldn't spend the money to get the thing right, or didn't have the engineering, or something. I'm not sure what their problem was, but it was a turkey, put it that way.
There's also another startup American sport bike company I haven't heard much about, don't know if they've gone the way if Indian yet or not, LOL, called "Fischer or Fisher" or something.

Lots of rumbling, but I don't count my American bikes, especially sport oriented bikes, until they hatch. The Japanese and the Euros sort of have a hammer lock on the market. Sport bikes are about one thing, performance. All else is just BS. If it ain't the fastest in the class, it's a loser, period. Purchasers follow the racing, too. I'm not real sure how Buell has carved out a niche. They're not purely a sport bike, for sure, and they're even diversifying into the "adventure tour" market with the Ulysses which looks like a really cool bike. They've had their QC problems, though, and I'm not sure I trust 'em with my money.
I have little hope for Fischer or Czysz (I think it is pronounced "says"). Takes a LOT of cash to start a production of a new engine/bike from scratch. The Fischer has already back stroked ala Aprilia and last I read is planning to source a 650cc Suzuki SV650 clone engine, a V twin made by Hyosung of Korea, for their bike. They even yapped about a turbocharged version. I guess that's to get it up closer to triple digit horsepower, but I know from SV650 racing that things get a little unreliable on the SV engine past 80 rwhp. They're stone reliable up to that, but those 100 hp SVs that sprint race in the clubs are two wheeled bombs waiting to explode. LOL They only have to last 8 laps in a sprint.
Valentino Rossi could probably win on it, I guess, LOL! They'll need one heck-uv-a rider to go with one heck-uv-a motorcycle, I can tell ya that! You're talking about 250+rwhp 990cc bikes that run over 200 mph speeds on a long enough straight and handle like nothin' else on the planet with two wheels and unlimited budgets. And, you're talking about the fastest motorcycle riders that money can buy. Heck, I know for a fact that Colin makes over 30 MILLION a year as Yamahas #2 rider! That's Yamaha salary, doesn't include endorsement money. That's just the rider's payroll. Lord only knows what they pay Rossi!
The machinery, the mechanics, the support staff, the trailers, the flights/logistics to race from Japan and Malaysia to the USA to Qatar to Europe. I mean, I don't even know if these guys could afford the friggin' UMBRELLA GIRLS. 
Hopefully, they'll get some Page Ranking. They'll be quite lucky to qualify and luckier to finish dead last without a mechanical.
