| It's with a sad heart that I tell you a friend of ours has passed away this past Tuesday night. He was tragically killed in a car accident. Ironically, he had just traded in his beloved Harley on a 1923 Ford T-Bucket replica. He'd broken his leg a couple of years ago on the bike and rarely drove it as a result. He decided it was time to move from two to four wheels at age 58 and suffering from arthritis. He was on his way home in his new car on the interstate when he apparently lost control, hit a guardrail and was thrown from the car. His family believes that something in the steering mechanism broke causing him to loose control.
It just goes to show that when it's your time it's your time. We will miss Dan. He was a big man with a big heart and a small voice. My heart goes out to him and I hope he is now in a better place.
Peace |

| Sorry about the loss. I always like to remember folks thinking about all the good times. I hope when its my time, it becomes a celebration, not a mourning. Peace, Michael |

| Max,
I too offer symapthy in your loss. Good friends are hard to come by, and it sounds to be that he indeed was a good friend. I have to add though, it sounds like he died doing something that made him happy. That, ultimately is what must be looked at, that he died doing something that brought him pleasure. Carry the good thoughts,....for him. |

| I also am truely sorry to hear of your loss. It sounds like your friend lived life to the fullest...I am hoping that you and the family are celebrating his LIFE, and not mourning his passing (tho I know that you are also mourning). Please pass on my condolances to the family.

| Thank you all for the kind words. There was a mass held for him Monday and there were so many people that turned out, there wasn't enough room in the church to seat them. Clearly he touched a lot of lives.
Thanks again for the kind words. I appreciate the thoughts. |
