| Well y'all, I am up here in *ahem* "sunny" Akron, Ohio.
It's a little nipply, but that's okay.
Will write more when I get settled in...just wanted to let y'all know I'm okay.

| Glad you made it..never been to Ohio..don't know much about the snow there but a garage heater is handy..I'll break down and get one for mine but natural gas is expensive..I'll have to check where Ohio is but I think it's banana belt as far as what I'm used to. |

| I've actually been through Mantua and Mantua corners...nice little place there. Carlson HD is the dealer there, I think.
Love the area, but will probably be movin' out east of Akron in the summer, I work at the airbase over in Youngstown, so we'll see how the winter commute goes on 76.
PS..Lived in Cheyenne, Greeley, Plattsburgh NY, and Germany before. And yup, it's freakin' cold here in the winter. I just don't have NO kind of brains...

| Hey Scooter
if you move in the summer i would'nt move to close to work there is alot better places in between akron and youngstown, well i mean quieter nicer property,, i don't like city livin and large crowds.
76 shouldnt be to bad in the winter seeing where you'v lived you should be used to driving in the snow.if you have a cb in your truck just stick with the truckers, just remember give them plenty of room.
carltons hd was a great place to go and get stuff done to your bike but what ive been told from buddys they lost the loyalty to their customers,
there is a shop i tjink it is in warren called thunder cycles they do great work. ill check with a buddy get the name and phone number for you.

| If your on your bike and not in a big hurry, take rt.224. 2 lane runs parallel to 76 all the way through Boardman/Youngstown area to PA border. Cuts smaller towns and Berlin Lake state park. Better ride than 76. 55 mph for the most part.Little more scenic.
Don't think 76 will be to bad in the winter for the most part. More snow usually in y-town area because of the way the winds come across the lake. |
