| So, do not know HOW true this is.... could be just an urban legend....could be cleaverly written to disquise the fact that it is an Anti-software pirating ad....or could be full truth. I don't have time to research it, but thought it was interesting to read. Hope you enjoy it!!! Interesting » The Farewell Dossier |

| Interesting, but I wonder how much of it is loosely based on the old cold-war paranoia that still lives on. Less than half way through the article it lost me by saying... "Working in concert with the US Defense Department and the FBI, the CIA began to organize a large-scale conspiracy". Really???? The FBI, DOD and CIA worked TOGETHER? Just like they worked together on sharing information about a group of nuts with box cutters? That part was a little far-fetched for me, but I guess it could happen.
I don't doubt that much of this is true. What I find troubling is that our government would purposely sabotage information that could lead to thousands of deaths should something like a natural gas line fail. Why not just stop the leak of information? To me its like adding rat poison to drugs rather than stopping the drug traffic in the first place.
Maybe thats why I'm not in politics |

| Someone could make this into a great book or movie. It does sound plausible and I'll bet that they have done the same to us. All's fair in these kinds of operations I guess. |
