| I can only tell you that the emissions will be up to par with Australia. The dealership that is local to me is always selling bikes to those visiting from different South Pacific nations so obviously it's worth it to some people depending on their country. I would think that the red tape would be horrible, but perhaps dealers have it all worked out. There is also that little matter of taxes and inmport fees to consider. A good way to find out is to visit a large dealership and ask them.
Other than the exchange rate, is there any reason why you don't want to buy down there? The savings would have to be substantial to make the effort worth while. |
