| Interesting looking bike. Anytime I see the words "rare" I become skeptical and think that the seller probably thinks he is sitting on a goldmine. What I find amusing about rare or limited productions is that sometimes there's a good (or bad) reason for the limited number. If Harley released a model that bombs before it produces 100 items, does that make it rare and valuable? Not saying thats the case with this bike, but sometimes limited numbers are associated with something being undesirable, not rare.
BTW, "rare" is also defined as undercooked meat |

| That is a pretty cool little bike. I would imagine that a collector may pay in the $5000-$8000 range if it really is as rare as stated and restored correctly. You would abviously need to find the right buyer. |

| I had a Neighbor of mine who found an old Harley (think it was a 125cc ??) & it was a neat little bike...really not much bigger than a scooter...I thought its a neat hobby (the restoration) but Id rather have something I can ride....If youre not gonna ride it, I say it isnt worth the effort. The bike for sale is neat but Im willing to bet that the only thing original to the bike is possibly the motor. With only 80 of em being made, I bet he had to fabricate alot of the stuff that naturally winds up breaking or "gone missing" in 45 years. |
