Just wanted to give everyone a heads up that I will be heading to Phoenix & Tombstone in November... heading down for a weekend and an NFL game. Anyone on the forum near there? Anyone want to meet up for a beer or 12? Let me know!

Cards and Lions... not the greatest game in the world, but it is an NFL, in a city and state that I have never been in... plus I may have a couple of beers as well.

That's the one weekend I can't get out of. I'm working at the track for the NASCAR race. I wash a few haulers and get all access passes. If you get to PIR, I'll be there.

Any chance that I could find a hole in the fence that a slightly overweight guy could squeeze through?!

It's really not that bad at PIR, you can bring a lawn chair and sit on the hill side for about $25.00. Setting in the stands for maybe $60.00. It's been so long since I sat in the stands I don't know.

We always do a big hill side set up with an awning and ice chest and BBQ. one year we even deep fried a turkey during the race.

The PIR hill side is one of the greatest seats in NASCAR.

This year I got an in with a guy that does all the washing of the haulers and motor homes and such. Some kind of dryless system like that Mr Clean auto wash. All I know is I have all access passes for the first time in a lot of years and I'm gonna have a blast.

If you think you might get there let me know. I'll PM you my cell number.

I would LOVE to go... even for the pole times, etc. The only commitments that I have is the NFL game on Sunday (around 4pm, I think), and I want to hit Tombstone (I am a HUGE Wyatt Earp/Doc Holliday fan). Otherwise, I'm good to go. I presume that Sunday is race day? Where should I go to look for some tickets?

There will be racing Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The Cup cars will start about noon on Sunday and will run till about dark. You can get ticketts at the track. You might catch the Bush race on Sat.

I'm a big Wyatt Earp/Doc Holliday fan as well.

Is the track located outside of town? Where is it? What can I expect to pay for a ticket to Sat's event?
