My buddy just got back from Baghdad and now he has to evacuate from his home, sweet, home..........how f@#ked up is that? Going down there for his retirement ceremony in a couple weeks, hope there is a place to see him at. Otherwise, he'll be moving in with me in Nevada.

This fire season has left us alone, but others aren't so lucky. I've been keeping a close eye on the hillsides in my area. Though I live 4 or 5 blocks away from where the foothills end, once our winds begin kicking through these fires can jump dramatically. Hopefully this latest wind event will be over soon.

Thumbs up

Hopefully these fires will be put out soon... My sister was in Spain when Barcelona was surrounded by fires. SHe thought she'd never make it out alive... It was pretty bad, but she survived...
