| Did you not have your cam shoes and oil pump checked every 25,00 miles ?
Glad you caught it before it went any longer.
My buddy had his checked at 23,000 miles on his 07 heritage. They looked like they was brand new. |

| No. Nobody said a thing to me about cam shoes until I was getting ready to go on my trip. I was teaching a class with a former service writer for a dealership and he asked me about it. I freaked and flew down to the dealership after the class. It was a couple of days before I was leaving. They did an inspection and said that they were wearing, but they'd probably make it. The trip was over 8,000 miles, and then I put another couple thousand on after that. I pushed the envelope. At that point I knew what I was doing, so I'm not pissed at anyone for giving me shoddy service. I feel special that I got over 70,000 out of them. |

| they should have looked brand new or nearly new.....it has the new tensioner system.....if it looked bad, there is a big problem,,,,,,,  |
