| It got all the way up to 40 here yesterday. This morning was even warmer...............BUT.............heavy rains and then cold coming. DOH! We're just replacing the melting snow with ice.
Maybe we'll get out in a few more weeks. |

| Well it has been a bit warmer, up to about 45, but a hell of a lot of rain. The plus side is that it's melting all the snow and washing away the salt. I can't wait for all that wet to freeze!
A guy I know just came back from clearing the snow off his camp. It's a little over 2 hours north of here in Maine. That's him in front of the door. Better him than me.

Actually, there is a neighbor that lives next door year round that called him to let him know how bad it was. I guess they've had a lot of cave ins in the area. So he went up there just to dig it out. That was last Saturday and he's still sore! |

| I'm looking at another 24" of that *&#@% white cold stuff outside my window and find myself counting the days until I can move to a friendlier climate. From Thanksgiving to Easter living in upstate NY sucks ( and I used to be a devoted skier too!)
Got a guy at work who still rides his KLM to work if the roads aren't icy but I'm not that brave/foolish.
By the way anyone making plans to visit up my way (Lake George,NY) for this years Americade?????????????
Let me know and I'll meet you at Fire & Ice or Duffy's for a cold one!!
They're 2 of the most bike friendly places in the village.

| Still no snow here but serious storm across the whole country. Rain, 80 mph winds, it's horrible out there and I've got to leave for work in a few minutes. Not looking forward to today. |

| Got my first ride of the season in yesterday. On Wednesday there was 6" of snow on the ground. Thursday 53 degrees and sunny, Friday 61 and sunny, no more snow except for the big piles from the plows. It was great to be back in the saddle again. |

| I feel for the folks in the snow country my best ridding buddie just last April moved to RI from this south FL weather and is going thru the withdraws waiting for a clear day. He actually takes his bike out for a spin in the 40 degree weather and freezes his butt off and claims it is worth it. Leather up just ain't enough. I on the other hand can ride most every day some rainy but most all days are good days to ride. |

Actually they tell me that Spring is right around the corner May 28th to be exact!!!!!!!!!
Does anybody know if they make Snow tires for H-D's????
For you people from south of the Mason-Dixon, they are like off road tires but a bit smaller!! |
