Shortly after being informed that I won the LOH contest, I was offered a job at the company HQ down on the range, which will allow me a lot more riding time and social life. I've already found a great apartment with a HUGE garage. I can start doing my own service again, and my baby will have a warm and dry place to stay. They even gave me a raise to go down there even though it's not a promotion.
Yesterday we had a department ski day and I won two silver medals through Nastar and won first female skier in the department. I wasn't even going to ski. I was pissed that they were making me ski.

I'll be in the 'burbs north of Denver. It's a really hip apartment complex. I looked at others that are teeming with small children or look like assisted living facilities. This one is more my style and about 5 minutes from work. There's an events center right there with their own CHL hockey team. It's still under construction so there aren't a lot of people living there yet. However, they already have two Harley riders besides me. I guess I'm not the only one that fell in love with the garages.
