Wow...I didn't realize how brain dead I was until I read this guy's rant. I guess all us losers better sell our Harley's.

If you really finished reading all that I am impressed with your dedication. Although this person does have some valid points, I believe they could have been stated only once each and this rant could have been cut down to about a third of it's current self. Personally, I couldn't finish it. My BS tank filled way too early to make it through.

SOUNDS LIKE SOMEONE WHO JUST CAN'T BUY A HARLEY GUESS THEY MUST BE YOUNG BECAUSE THE HARLEY RIDER THING HAS ONLY BECOME ACCEPABLE IN SOCIETY FOR ABOUT 10 YEARS NOW, AND WITH THAT THE PRICES DID GO UP. GUESS HIS MIND SET IS WHAT CREATES THOSE MOTORCYCLE FATALITY SATISICS, GRANTED WE MIGHT BE STUCK WITH THE BIG AND FLASHY AND BE 10 YEARS BEHIND THE JAPS. IF I WANTED TO RACE I'D GET A RACI'N KIND OF BIKE, SOME OF THE POINTS THEY MADE I AGREED WITH, HARLEY DOES TRY TO SELL A IMAGE, GUESS THATS JUST THE AMERICAN WAY, AND I DON'T THINK EVERY ONE WHO IS RIDE'N THINKS THEY ARE A BAD ASS CAUSE THEY RIDE A HARLEY, HONESTLY I READ ABOUT HALF WAY THINKING IT WAS GOING TO END AND HE JUST KEPT RANTING ON AND ON ABOUT RALLY NOTHING SO I STOPED READING, LOSS OF INTREST, GUESS THE GUY IS JUST TIRED OF PEOPLE TELLING HIM TO BUY A REAL BIKE AND HAS TO REVERT TO HOW PERFORMENCE WISE HE'S THE BEST BECAUSE HE PROB RIDES A CROTCH ROCKET AND JUST IS PISSED THAT HE CAN'T BUY A HARLEY. BUT I'M SURE THIS THREAD WILL GET PLENTY OF REVIEWS AND OPINIONS. AND LOOKING AT THE PRICES OF A JAP BIKE ARN'T FAR OFF FROM A HARLEY, INLESS IT'S USED, SO AS CRAPPY AS HE MIGHT THINK A HARLEY IS, AT LEAST IT HOLDS A GOOD RESALE VALUE, AND IN A BUYERS MIND WOULD BE A GOOD INVESTMENT.

holycow, sucked it up and went back and read more. yeah it's a kid on a Ninja. blah blah blah, STFU punk is about all I would like to tell this asshat. if I were one to hold a grudge or run stereotypes I would quit speaking to the dips on the crotch rockets just because of this idiotstick. although a dropped hand as we pass is about all I care to say to them.

The guy's a douchbag and obviously needs professional help. The best thing he could do for himself is take his real motorcyle up to 170 mph and ride it right into a brick wall. Think of the amount of riding he could have been doing in the 4 hours it took him write that crap. And if he didn't keep repeating himself, he could have been done in 15 minutes.

Thumbs up

I bought my Harley cause I wanted too. No one pushed me into it or persuaded me in any way what so ever. Obviously he has an opinion just like a$$holes, eveyone has one. Therefore, I let him rant all he wants, nobody is probably listening to him anyways. At least that's my take on this dud (I mean dude)...

Cool

I can`t imagine what bug crawled up this dude`s rectal cavity to give him such an attitude, but I`m glad I`m not so narrow-minded. As far as I`m concerned, any bike is good, so long as it puts your face in the wind.

Man this dude doesn't get laid enough.....probably why he has all that pent up anger. According to him everyone who rides wants to do 0-150 as quick as possible or they aren't real men. You've all been brainwashed................ahhhhhhhh!

dang it mwelych. You just made me feel like crap, I was actually retarded enough to go back and finish (well almost) reading that. Which means I wasted that much time in my life entertaining (listening to) this idiot's opinion.

Like you said everyone has one, and some people are one ~*~

Obviously this idiot has a bad case of optical rectal eyeteous. That's a condition where the mucles in your a$$hole connect with the one's in your eyeballs and you have a ****%y outlook on life.

I couldnt even get 1/3 of the way through it... Obviously the guy has a little bit of an axe to grind. He hasn't got a clue & its apparent by the assumptions he makes. He sees us all as rich urban bikers, & though Im no 1%er, I sure aint no rich urban biker. I've ridden a rice burner, I think most of us started out on one because we couldnt afford a Harley. I prefer to ride a Harley-Davidson not because of "style" but more because of quality & Americanism. Everything on my Harley that is chrome is actually made out of metal.....Not so with my old Suzuki. Harleys are American made. That is very important to me. Its also the same reason why I drive a Ford. The same reason why I went into the military, the same reason why I joined the American Legion after my tour. This guy is nothing to me cause he is ignorant of why we do what we do. Probably a card carrying ACLU member from Berkeley as well....

This guy is stuck in the 70 s , I've owned everything-kaw kz1100(very fast strickly straight line) goldwing,cbr1000,v65(honda) was my last rice burner which I sold and waited 10 yrs to buy my first Harley.I live in Ontario,Canada and would put my 06 flhtc against anything comin out of Japan for value, quality, workmanship and performance. Have you seen the Victory vision or late model goldwing- 50% plastic and ugly as sh!t and not that far off in price range of a touring Harley!
This guy has a "ninja" which if you know riceburners is an outdated platform from the 90's that my old 88ci Evo Lowrider would smoke, even with my big 3 ft windsheild on it as he liked to say.
So you 3 tooth souther boys just keep puttin out that outdated American Thunder and us eskimos will keep buyin it, BTW I couldn't finish the whole thing either!
