| Hey! Know that it has been a bit since I have been on.... Had mail call yesterday.... had this HUGE box, probably 3-4 dozen choc chip cookies...due to the heat here, they were still warm...like OVEN warm! Shared them with the floor, think the whole box was gone in a few hours and everyone enjoyed them!!!
CD, I want to thank you, your wife, and Eric for those cookies! People were really suprised that I received them from people I had never met and only talked with on the computer!!! They brought a bit of sunshine to everyone that was working (and even a couple of the patients!!). I had to keep the box. Did she make that? Looked like fabric that had been stretched and glued to a shoebox...very nice! Could not stand to throw that away, so keeping it until I have stuff I need to mail out of here!!!
Today, we are at about 105-110 degrees....dry...DUST......got a haircut today, walked to the PX/BX, and called family. Has been a good day. Tomorrow, I am back at work. This has been a nice day off. Hope you all are getting in some good riding!!!
Oh, my home email address is unaccessable to me while over here....so am using chris_nelson_rn@yahoo.co.uk for those that have my in their email address books.... this is now my primary until I get home. Have a great day!

Thanks for what you guys are doing... | Fresh is almost an understatement!!! Due to the heat, they were soft and melty like they had JUST come out of the oven!!! GREAT!!! Treats in general are appriciated!! Cookies, Jerky (especially if someone has good home made stuff!), I am always looking for singles packets to flavor water.......drinking more of THAT then I care to think of.....maybe some various motorcycle rags...... Basiclly, anything that does not need microwave fixing....have some around, but not always teh easiest to get to..... Thanks again! the whole unit loved them! |

| I will post the question again, if you need anything else just let us know, there are a number of different options to get you stuff, but we need to know.
USO and some local lodges will make sure that you do.
Just say it man, and I'll work with someone here to get it to you.
Good luck, stay safe and shoot them bastards first and ask questions later

German | Anything is welcome!!! Snacks, cookies....home-made goodies... jerkey...anything that does not require a microwave! We have a few around, but I am lazy and not willing to walk to where I might find a working one!!! I have a phone card that has rates of 4 cents a minute....can't beat that....and it is reloadable. I am one of those that if somethng is sent to me that "I" can not use, I donate it to someone that can....or put it in the patient's donation closet...... someone will need it sooner or later! Just a box with trinkets and a few cookies is welcome..... when you are away from home, every mail call is eagerly awaited!! Shoot, cards and letters even nice (no bills please!!! ) Beverage additives such as the "go packs" of crystal light, propel, tang, etc always go over well...anything to change up the flavor of water......and if anyone knows how to light a fire under someone's butt on getting the wireless internet network set up and online over housing sooner.....was supposed to be turned on in march.....then june....heard rumor that maybe sometime after the end of my tour....which means that I will remain on hold for school and limited internet surfing.....not to mention that I have much more limited options for webcam with the family... Oh well...enuf of my complaining..... Have a great day!

Nurse | I will start to check with everyone around here to see if we can get something to you as quickly as possible. I know that Hot01 wanted to do something in the past. I'll private message her to see how far we can go.
I was contacted by USO by that seemd the long way to get there. So if you can provide me with the correct contact information for you as far as location and all the other good stuff is concerned (But please make sure that we are compromising your security or that of everyone around you.
Please forward that information to my office e-mail german.gutierrez@linde.com and we'll go from there.
Stay safe my man and I'll work from this end.
