Hi riders:
Well, I finally completed my bike. It is a real Heinze 57 but runs and looks good. I started with a 72 FLH frame and 19 boxes of parts I inherited. It's a shovel head with 2003 harley carb. The engine was put together by a patient who's a harley mechanic and a shovelhead rider. With the help and advise of Pct 4 Choppers of Spring, Tx, I put a 2000 wide glide front end on it with 21 in tire and dual disc. The rear got an after market swing arm and 2003 soft tail fender plus disc brake. 19 in handle bars with 8 inch risers and 2 in back sweep. 40 in drag pipes for sound. Forward controls and Lymbie crash bars. I am currently redoing a solo seat to a tandem for a passenger. Will try and send pictures later. Took 55 days to complete, one Friday a week at a time. Oh, paint is diamond pearl white with 50s tank decal.
Doc
