Morning all! We are having yet another hot, dry, dusty day here in Balad Iraq (was over 122 the other day!). I noticed the other day that my tennis shoes have melted.....ok, so melted the glue that bonds the rubber sole to the foam part.... so my Left shoe has slipped about 1/8 inch, the right shoe....more like 1/3 inch. Looks pretty funny...having a 1/3 inch flap of rubber sticking out around one side of my shoe.... look underneith and have a 1/3 inch strip of the foam exposed.....I will continue to wear them as long as possible, BUT, they will NOT come back to the states with me.....they are now officially a "burn in place" item....or at least haul them to the dumpster type if item!!! I am going to have to replace my camera case today...zipper broke on my other case.... going to read a book to my daughter.....and after that, just see what the day has in store for me. Hope you all have a great day!

AFNurse,

Sorry I have been away so much, but work sucks and my bosses twices that much more!! I am looking to take a position as a regional sales manager for specialty gases in the North East. We shall see, I am keeping my fingers crossed!

Anyway, I have not forgotten, but I think I will do a package just for you, since everyone else just reads, but nver sends anything my way.

I see that you have had a few interesting activities over there! Be safe and we'll be in touch very soon.
