Hello Everybody...been riding a lot lately. Mostly on my 06 RK Custom and a little on the lawn mower and tractor . Glad the heat has stunted the yard so I can ride the bike more.

My question is on "T" bags. Is bigger better? I'm not planning any major road trips but wonder if I should just get one of those round "T" bags or one of the ones that are two piece with more room for stuff.
I'm seeing price ranges from $90 to $250 (HD).
Any suggestions?

Ya'll stay cool when you can,
Buddy

Can't say what size you need, but with a T bag you can always hook or bungy cord extra bags to them since they have rigidity. Then you can buy cheaper canvas bags when you need extra stuff.

Then you can get different color bags and have things hanging all crooked so you can get that "I don't care cause I'm a gypsy" look. You don't want to look to neat

Also, I have been told that the nice looking leather bags are hard to deal with when they aren't completly full. Like I said earlier, it is good to have some rigidity in the bags.

And you can get T bags almost anywhere. Go to your local Suzuki dealer and see if they are cheaper there.

Thanks for the info. I'll probably be packing for just one most of the time. Saving green is a good thing. I have not thought about the metric dealers. I like the gypsy look.....cars might wonder if I have my shotgun with me and stay away. I'll let ya'll know what I end up with or if I have more questions.
Thanks

Well, they wore me down. It was confusing to try to get one that would fit the sissy bar pad. I could not find any stores that had any bags that I could look at. I was thinking of going with the gypsy look but I have ordered the T bag, Universal Expandable with Roll bag and built in rain cover. It was free shipping and no tax since it was out of state.
Thanks for the advise. I'll let ya'll know how I make out on my trip to South Texas
