I have read that since helmets have become mandatory the cost of health care has gone up mega dollars. Before helmets if you wrecked good chance you were killed. Now you wreck, the helmet might save your live but your brain might be totally wasted, or you might be a quadriplegic and the health care will have to take care of you till you die
