| Yeh, hoping Ike has minimal further impact. It seems to have been a dramatic and deadly season over the last few weeks. |

Your right in the path. Are you sure you want to stay. Go to my cousins house in Austin for the weekend.
I hope you got a basement.

| Chuck the NWS has issued a warning that if you stay you are notified that you are taking your life in your own hands kind of a death watch.
Yeah they get overboard but if you can, load up and GTFOD... |

| Chuck, are you sure that is a good plan? Ultimately it is your call but that storm is looking to be really dangerous. |

| chucktx - I know your part of Texas is friggin' hurting right now, but when you get the chance to say "Howdy" we'll all be relieved. I - and the rest of this forum, I'm sure - are anxiously waiting for you to get back online.
May God bless you and all who have suffered through Hurricane Ike. Hope to hear from you soon. |

| Second hand info here, but it's reliable. Chuck came through fine. No power, trees down, but after half a day with a chain saw got cut out to pickup a generator which will help alot. Sounds like the house ect came through fine.
I'm sure he'll update us soon as he gets back on the net. |

| Thanks, Big Jake - thanks alot!
P.S. Sure is strange, worrying about folks we've never even shook hands with, but it is just the American way. |

Yeah I hear ya. I've "known" the man for 10 year, but never laid eyes on him. Hope to change that this fall yet. I was real concerned about him and some others down that way. Sounds like everyone got through alright. |
