OK, granted it was all my fault but it has been at least 2 years since I last dropped in here!! Wow, so MUCH has happened. In case anyone remembers me HEY, in case no one does a quick note. I am an American who was living in Frankfurt Germany. I finally talked my wife into moving back to the USA and I am now BACK in the US of A!! Good Old burbs of Atlanta, GA!! It has been 2 years now since my move and me selling my sporty and NOW Guess what! Yup, I am now a proud owner of a well ridden 2001 Harley Davidson Heritage Softail Classic!! My brother (ok not paternal) AFNurse has been riding my ass about not being on here in like forever and he was right. No promise that I will be able to make it here as a regular again BUT I will try. Just a few things though. I am OH SO HAPPY to be back in the USA. I spent roughly 17 years away from her and there is truly nothing like her. Second it is GREAT to be back on a Harley! For me there is no other bike in the world. So with that said, Hello again to all from me. I hope you are all doing well and can welcome back a long lost son and sometimes bit of a nomad on the web.

Thank you very much!! I hope to get a few more pics this weekend and post them. Just picked her up yesterday evening, just in time to take my daughter to cheerleading on it. Then road her in to work this morning. I gave mama a test ride on it earlier this afternoon and she likes it very much herself. About the only thing i might have to change out is the front windshield. The current one has seen a good 40k miles and looks it.

Thank you, sir!! I do hope everyone is having a great weekend so far. I had to get up way too early for a Sunday BUT at least I am riding the bike into work. I am going to do my best to drop in around here much more often.

ROFL, dude I had to keep away from bike sites while living without otherwise I would have gone STIRCRAZY!! Road in this morning on the interstate. When I got on the elevator a guy said to me, "You don't ride that thing on I-285 do you? That damn road scares me in a car." Hehehehe well yes I did actually and at this time of the morning it is not THAT bad. Granted there are a lot of cage idiots out there but for the most part it was a GREAT ride in.

Sounds like you had a good ride into work! I know why you departed the site....no bike, discussion on bikes...makes for a hard 2 years or so! But, now that you are back in the saddle, welcome back to the site!
