Winter is arriving, so it is time to start seriously thinking about adding bits of chrome. I am planning a stage one upgrade on my 2007 FXSTC. I don't want to make vast visual changes so I am probably going to go for either the Vance and Hines slip ons or the Screaming Eagle ones, I am sure performance wise there is not a great deal of difference. Air filter wise there seems to be a variety of options, but again I am not after making great visual changes, suggestions here would be appreciated. Then comes the EFI adaptation, the Vance and Hines Fuelpak thing seems good but possibly overpriced, again, anyone with an opinion?

I am going to be lazy, get a mechanic to fit it all. I have a high stress day job, acute community psychiatry in London, I'd rather spend my weekend time riding or enjoying myself in other ways. Apart from which the bike is still under warranty, so if Warr's mechanics screw up or there are problems. Catch my drift.

Beyond this I might waste some money on chrome forward controls, not sure yet.

Any hints, experience or wisdom on the Stage One upgrade would be appreciated.
