I ordered the Rinehart True Duals from Sam @ Direct Parts. Great service. Great experience. Great price.
Got the bike apart and new pipes on but of course, the very last thing to go on is the right muffler. Turns out there were 2 left mufflers in the box.
Called Sam, who told me to call Rinehart.
Called Rinehart who took a credit card number from me to ensure that I would send the spare left muffler back while they sent the right muffler. I also faxed them my proof of purchase and a return form. Well, that was 3 weeks ago and still no right side muffler.
My bike is one of my primary forms of transportation so having it laid up for 3 weeks is not an option. I ended up putting the spare left muffler on the right side so when or if I send it back, they will be getting a used muffler.
Anyone else have a similar experience with Rinehart - like two right mufflers?

I'm completely stumped...never heard of that happening before. Let us know what happens...was kinda looking over some Rhineharts, but if that's how they work I may keep looking.

Bub has never made anyone wait that long. Have you called us for assistance? We do have a smidge of influence with them .

Please call us immediately and explain it to Sam.

As for having two left mufflers or headers etc, None of us can recall ever seeing a mispackaged Rinehart. V&H did do some weird stuff a long time ago. They hired some new packers and they were leaving out the mounting kits on Longshots. Just them, nothing else....

Whenever an issue like this does happen and it is not resolved quickly it is alway best to contact us for assistance.

Well, I don't kow what Sam or CD did but that dang right muffler showed up over the weekend while I was gone.
I just need to un-install the "spare" left one and send it back to Bubs.
