| Not bike related except for the fact that everyone has differing points of view.
Two neighbors fighting over a roof height. One home owner found out the other home owners roof line exceeded the city limits and he complained to the city so the city investigated and yes it was. The home owner with the higher roof line which was blocking the other home owners view had to drop his roof line down. So when he put the new roof up he added some vents on the side with some rather different venting. Here is the pic, good laugh. |

| I Wish I Could Find It To Show Everyone, But This Is How It Was.
A Neibor Had A Problem With His Neibor To His Left. I Don't Know What It Was About But What He Did Was Took A Nice Big Full Bush.
This Bush Was About 8 Foot Tall And About 6 Foot Wide. When He Was Done Doing What He Did To It It Was A Bit Smaller And Shaped A Little Differant.
It Was Shaped In A Way That The Neibor Got The Message.
The Bush Was Shaped Into A Man Bending Over And His Ass Was Facing That Neibors House. There Is A Picture Of The Neibor Standing On His Side Of The Wooden Fence That Was 3 Or 4 Foot Tall. The Bush Was 4 Foot Or So Away From The Fence So The Guy Could Not Reach It.
You Could See The Steam Coming Off This Guy And The Expression On His Face Says It All. I Will Look For It. Gumby |

| A couple we know bought this place thinking it to be the perfect house for them. They were told that an Easement could exist across the driveway to the back of the neighbors behind them. The Realtor told them no there was not and the title company neglected to find it on the title report as it went clear back to the 1930s. I told them to go to the county officers and research it before they signed papers but they took the Realtors word.
We'll after they moved in they discovered that yes there is an easement and the neighbor gal told them that they are going to be parking all of their cars back there. Well, you can imagine what took place after that. Thousands spent on lawyer fees, wars in the driveway, hair pulling fights, yelling harassment. They even throw nails out in the one section of the driveway that they don't use but the back neighbors do, branches they cut from trees get thrown into the driveway for harassment. Trees get cut down for harassment, it is just stupid anymore. It was kind of comical for a while but now the wife and I are very tired of listening to it and don't go down there as they have now put these big flower pots down the center of the driveway making it very difficult to even drive in.
I am surprised that someone has not been shot yet. It's been close for having the police there. The two husbands now see what is happening and have tried to restrain their wives but it wont happen. They absolutely hate each other. We finally told the people we know that we don't want to be involved, be around it or hear about it anymore and have quit going down there. I did tell her that you either need to learn to get along with these people and bury the hatchet or move. Her answer was I'll punch her out first I hate her. So I said, I guess you will be moving again.
It really does suck when neighbors can't get along and the more they fight the less even their own friends want to come around. Now, nobody in the motorcycle chapter will even go there and all because two people can't learn to get along.
There neighbors do have a legitimate easement and a right to use it. I told my wife that they should put the two women in a large burlap sack and the one who emerges still alive is the winner.
The bad thing is now we are not very close friends with them as they took offense to us saying that we are not interested anymore in the easement battle with their neighbors as every time we see them you have to sit there and listen to the latest, no thanks life is to short. |

| It's all about who tops who now. When I was reading the first part I said to myself I am surprised no one has taken a shot at one or the other. Then you said it. You are so right. If you can't get along. Move along...I am from N.Y. orig. and there you have all types off people. I can deal with any body except loud rap music.
I no longer have to deal with anyone now. My two neibors on both sides of me are old and are always home. I help the old folks when I can and do whats right to be a good neibor. I work in my garage at times until 4 or 5 in the morning. Since I am retired I can putz around when I want as long as I have the door down. They cant hear me. Just stay out of it like you said and you won't be a part of that crap. gumby peace |

| I agree with you gumby, just be invisible until you're needed to help out, then disappear again. I have had to live in the city before, and will have to live in the city again when we move up to Ohio (NOT looking forward to having neighbors again...hoping and praying for the best, literally) and I am going to have to learn to live around people other than my family again.
But like you...as long as there ain't rap involved, I'm usually pretty cool.... |

| We live way out in the country on a acre. Got my shop and a garage. We get deer and other critters coming in all the time and its really quiet. My wife has a large pond with a water falls and a stream down to the pond and the deer bring their fawns up and lay beside it. I don't think I coud ever live in a city again. |

| Pond would be nice...stream also.....I would LOVE to buy some acrage someplace...not sure where yet (someplace I want to retire to in 9 years or so, then build), but needs to be big enuf with right stuff to do some light hunting and if water, maybe some fishing also!! even willing to suck up the cost to stock the water if I have to!!! Here in Texas, to do hunting on your own property (as described as land owner) needs to be 10+ acres......I would LOVE to find 100 for dirt cheap....scrub.....long as I can get water, electricity and phone.....sewer/septic, and TV can be arranged. |

| I am just glad that they are yours. If you read my profile my wife and I have been together for over 25 years. We made a choice not to have kids because we like the way our lives are.
Baby seats in my cars. NO WAY, THEY JUST DON'T GO WELL. If I need some hey come look at this. All I have to do is watch the dam news. It blows my mind kids bringing guns to school. When I was growing up. We had a fight after school and it was over. Then we became best friends after.
You can't take a bullet back. These kids think they are playing a video game. The don't relize what this does to so many people. How it affects so many lives.
All I can tell you is what I see when it comes to kids. What you put in, Is what you get out.
Today there are so many single parent house holds with no structure. I have no doubt why things are like they are. We didn't have nintendo and x box. Can anyone tell me what the hell is a blue tooth? You see we played outside. We made up games like johnny on the pony. Or played stick ball...all we wanted to do is get and and do something. I felt if I didn't get out I was missing something. Gumby Peace and happiness to all you who have my 2.2 children out there. I wish you all the best for your kids and for you. It won't be getting any ezier thats for sure..... |
