| Sorry, but I am pissed about this!!! I always check this stuff out and apparently this is true, they didn't reply but the good Sgt. confirmed it. http://www.snopes.com/politics/war/apo.asp

Do you ship to APO addresses? I'm in the 1st Cavalry Division stationed in Iraq and we are trying to order some mats but we are looking for who ships to APO first.

SGT Hess, We do not ship to APO addresses, and even if we did, we would NEVER ship to Iraq. If you were sensible, you and your troops would pull out of Iraq. <BR>

| Their entitled to their opinion and non response.
Discount-mats could/should at lease thank SGT Hess and the rest of our armed-forces for ensuring them the ability to be rude and uncaring and not being beheaded for doing so.
God bless America.

| Well, being that my daughter was raised in Wisconsin and her husband is a native of Wisconsin, I am not surprised.
Do you know Wisconsin's major crop exports? Cheese, beer and bad teeth. |

I wouldn't be sorry, Chuck. Be pissed and proud of it. It's about time all of us that love this country and the military that protects it, stand up to be counted. There are many people who hate our government and our military, e.g. Cindy Sheehan the modern day Jane Fonda, "celebrities" e.g. George Clooney, Rosie Odonnell, Shawn Penn, etc., newspapers e.g. NY Times, Washington Post, etc, ......I could go on and on but you get the point. I know that we are in the majority but we don't have the forums to get our message out as many of these traitors do. We must speak with our checkbooks and at the ballot box. I have never heard of this company but we ought to try to get the word out on these jerks and hurt them where they feel it....in their wallets. My two cents. |

Same story, on Fox news.... I am equally peeved about this ...at least according to the FOX article, the factory person that sent the reply lost his job... would like to see more be done to him, but that is a start! Their webite has been taken down also...probably due to the massive negitive emails that they were receiving!! Way to go!!! Now....if they are only forced to go out of business for piss poor decissions and company policies.... |

| I also read on another bike forum that someone from that company somewhat threatened the reporter, saying something about the muslims. Screw him too, that jackass, take your company and your mats and go the hell back to pakistan. Nice that he lives in OUR country (where we're free)and takes advantage of our opportunities, and then talks ****, thanks to OUR military. Go back to pakistan jerk-off!
Sorry, but I get tired of people who come here and then hate us.
Ok, I'm climbing off the soap box now, starting to breathe again......in through the nose and out thru the mouth....... |

No disrespect voodoochild, but it always cracks me up when someone says,,, “I saw it on another forum or web-site or somebody’s uncles nephew said this or that” … Don’t believe everything you see in print or what whozywhatsits said this.
I absolutely agree that those guys are dirt bags; and I truly hate it when I see foreigners putting America down and they are living here making a good living. I hate it even more when our own citizens, usually people in the pubic eye, like movie stars or musicians put America down. Then get the Fu@& out of the United States of America if you don’t like it.
Who is in charge of the rumor-mill around here?

| No disrespect taken....you're right, you never can believe what you read and only half of what you see. My view on those foreigners, (and actors for that matter) remains the same. If you don't like it here, get the **** out! Nobody BEGGED you to come here! |

| I cant believe I didnt see this thread before, so I went to the web site & this is what they had to post:
Dear Visitor,
Due to the recent actions of a member within our company, we have been experiencing many difficulties. We have been bombarded by emails and phone calls literally within 12 hours of the event occurring, which sent us in a state of complete shock.
Our technical difficulties were experienced due to severe e-mail and phone call overload.
As a company, we would like to say that it is against company policy to treat anyone disrespectfully, and we condemn any such behavior. The member who was responsible for stating their personal opinion in a disrespectful manner is no longer associated and no longer working with Discount-Mats.com
The members within our company strongly disagreed with the views and actions of this member, and once again, his personal opinion does not reflect the opinions of the company.
We, as a company, are sorry for the events that took place and we do not condone un-professional, rude behavior from any members within our company.
We are trying to get our website back up as soon as possible.
If you are a potential or current customer, or if you would like to leave your comments, please contact us via phone or e-mail below:
So at least they had the where-with-all to correct their "problem" |

| News Flash...Well maybe the people at that company would now like to contribute some of their precious mats to the vets coming home from that war who are now ending up homeless primarily from post tramatic stress disorder. Thousand of young men and women who served are now living out on the street. Their lives torn up. Family and friends turn their backs on them. God Bless the USA. Write to or email your senators and congressmen and the President if yu really care. fireitup |

| Just read the thread and I have to take the devils advocate position here for a minute. According to what I have read these are the facts A) An employee of said company made the remarks that were both disrespectful and inflamatory. B)That the owner of said company has fired the employee and apologized for his remarks and actions.....I have to ask, what else could the owner do? I have been treated shoddily at all manner of businesses in my lifetime and the bottom line, with me, has always been how the ownership/management handled the problem. Let's face it ANYONE can hire a bad apple. It happens all the time. Employees do everything from screwing off on company time to treating customers badly to stealing....it is unfortunately a fact of doing business and hiring people. And I have to wonder if the owners name had been Johnson and he hailed from Iueka, MS would the reaction be any different?
To judge the owner and his company by the ex-employees actions is like judging the entire US Military by the actions of some of the clowns that stepped over the line at Abu Ghraib prison.
Again, just playing Devils Advocate. As to the scumbags right to his opinions....he should if nothing else thank a vet for being able to state them and not worrying about Death Squads and Secret police.
