| Dang, I should've read his post a little closer..just seemed like a political rant and didn't pay close enough attention to it earlier. I gather if Ken banned him, then he deserved it..don't really know. If it was spam, them he was pushing something, and I didn't catch that. |

This is getting way off topic so I'll make this brief. If anyone has additional concerns please send me a message.
The word SPAM is often associated with advertising, but there are other forms that are just as annoying. SPAM is anything that is unsolicited, whether it be posted online or sent via email. Examples include self promotion of products, emailing chain letters, or generally annoying people with anything unwanted. Best way to avoid this is to not send stuff to people you don't know unless they ask for it. The rules here are pretty basic and not nearly as harsh as other forums... respect others and NO SPAM.
Anyway, enough about that. This thread was supposed to be about that corporation who encourages terrorists to obtain credit cards without ID, aka Bank of America |

I find it interesting that a bank with the name "Bank of America" is doing some pretty un-American stuff |

| Hi ya boys...thanks to Ken I'm back. Somehow I inadvertantly sent one of my posts to a members personal email address. The fingers are not always in sync with the brain. Or vice versa. So my apologies to who ever received the unwanted mail. Great to be back!

| Couple things about Ben and Jerry's
1) They no longer own it. They sold the company
2) Cherry Garcia and all the other ice creams they made were so damned high in calories (~280 calories per serving, 4 servings in a pint container).
3) The price was outrageous as well. Now we know how they made it rich. Overprice it!!!
Hope i don't get canned for the d-word...

Same goes for ben & jerry |

| Personally I deal with a small local bank because they know ya by name and it keeps money in the local community....until someone buys them like BOA did my last bank. Even doing business with the Greater Bank of PoDunk Falls...I was asked just a few months ago to check over my data and make sure it was up to date. And There was a piece back in the summer where Homeland Security froze the account of a group of nuns down in, if memory serves me right, Florida, because one of the sisters didn't have a social security number. So my question is IF they are tightening up on the people that have accounts and have had for years...how in the frozen wasteland of Anarctica can they open accounts for illegal aliens with no paperwork?
Or, like a lot of other things is it just the honest that get the kick in the cohonas while the slimebags get a hand up? Pretty damned strange if ya ask me. Course with the likes of hilary and Obama maybe getting the reins Anarctica isn't looking so dismal after all.

| It seems impossible that a bank could issue accounts without SSN's or TIN's.
If you earn any interest even 1 cent, the bank has to send you a 1099 int
for tax filing. They can't send the same info to the IRS without either a SSN or a tax id number. |

Of course I don't keep up with a lot of things, especially Hollywood, but DID Hanoi Jane ever apologize? read somewhere that the estrangment with her Dad was in part over her actions during 'Nam. *shrugs* While an apology doesn't change things, it does, at least, tell people that you know ya screwed up and take responsibility for your actions.

| She has never apologized and probably never will, who cares she is a bit@h. She is at it again (never learns) and will always be that type of bit@h.
I was there up by North Viet Nam when she was on the radio telling the world how bad we are and we all agreed that we should blow the he11 out of where she was at. Have never watched one of her movies sense and never will. If she was standing in front of me I would spit in her face.
She kind of reminds me of another bit@h that is running for President. |
