| I have come to the conclusion that the weatherman,[ nomatta where they are] have been the instagator of some of my "digruntlement" if it's a word cause this time they said it would be nice 10%-20% chances of rain the next day gona be a nice night so I left that night. 100 miles down the road it sprinkles. (thats ok it's 9 p.m. I figure If I can make salt lake before about 2-3 am it'll be alright plenty of time to beat the rain) sooo. 50 miles later about wells, nv it downpours all the way to wendover. got some encouragement though it stopped and was warm for about 20 mi, just enough to get me out of nv and the thunder rolled and the lightening flashed and the rain poured to aboout grantsville where it gave up and a salt dust storm blew. but it was short lived and besides it was to be in the 50's in salty that night ( about 40 is close I began to dry out and heck it was to reach close to 60 across wyo.)figured I would fuel and hit wyo it would be chilly as usual in the morning but the weaterman said look for them high 50s and have a grrreat day Oh did I mention It was about 17 degrees in evanston (not fully dry just determaned) but the temp was rising as I ventured east to rocksprings and stopped to warm up with some hot chocolate. the rock was a wopping 21 made another 100 mile shot to rawlins where I stopped to warm up and bask in the 22 degree temp. elk mountain great ride temp was about the same but no wind oddly enough so I enjoyed it to laramie where I figured by this time I wuld push on to the house. sherman was clear to the top and still cold got to buford before the freezeing fog (should tell ya about the road condition ) this is where the gravel on the e-lane became my friend, by the time I got to the snow pack roads I must say I had to talk myself on home it was only 7 more miles in this distance I have decided to just look at the clouds and trust in my gut and god. the weather man is now 100% and completely for entertanment porposes only. |

I have to ride out to my ma's house tomorrow & they are callin for rain again...don't know if I should believe them....But it is a 300 some odd mile trip.... |
