| And do you know why......because there is probably a huge fight going on as we speak between the networks to see who will have rights to the film coverage as they turn it into a celeb-reality tv special for 45 days. Why do you think they waited for a June 5 start date? Have to have time to set up a thousand camera in county, consent from all the inmates to appear on tv, finding someone to play the roll of her bubbaette lover.....
In all seriousness, it kills me to see all these no-life dork idiots screaming for her to be released. Would they still want her released is she had killed their parents, sister or brother, wife or daughter....etc. I doubt it. The fact that she got 3 years probation for a DUI is an insult to the families of people that lost their life to a DUI offender. |

| I heard the other night that she is really not being charged with DUI but is in trouble now because of driving on a suspended license???? None of this makes any sense to me and I'm not sure why I'm even thinking about it. |

| The dumb a$$ plead no contest* when she was caught DUI back in Sept 2006. She was given 3 years probation fines and suspended license. Now she was caught for driving on a suspended licence and sentenced to 45 days jail.
no contest
n. in criminal law, a defendant's plea in court that he/she will not contest the charge of a particular crime, also called nolo contendere. While technically not an admission of guilt for commission of the crime, the judge will treat a plea of "no contest" as such an admission and proceed to find the defendant guilty as charged. |

| It's just nice to see one crash and burn every once in a while just as we would if we were in the same situation instead of getting special treatment. Especially an annoying one. |

| This was in the news this morning: Paris Hilton will serve about one-half of her 45-day jail sentence and be separated from the general prison population, authorities said Wednesday.
The hotel heiress will spend about 23 days in a "special-needs housing unit" at the Century Regional Detention Center in suburban Lynwood, Calif., Los Angeles County sheriff's spokesman Steve Whitmore said.
Her sentence was shortened after jail officials gave her credit for good behaviour, Whitmore said. Officials considered several factors in calculating the credit, including that she appeared for her latest court date, he said.
Like everyone else in the 2,200-convict facility, Hilton will be given at least an hour outside her cell each day to shower, watch television, participate in outdoor recreation or talk on the telephone, he said.
Not a big surprise that her jail time was shortened... but at least the idiot is going to jail for a bit. And I like the idea that she only gets an hour a day outside her cage. Maybe that will teach her something... though I doubt it. |

| The dumbest part of this whole thing is that she has enough money to simply hire a driver in the 1st place. Dumb bitch. |

| Is this a weird case now, or what? Looks to me like the L.A. County Sheriff Baca is a friggin' whackjob. I didn't want to give a hoot about this, but when they first released her all I could think was "**** like that is why so many Californians are moving to Nevada". Then the judge throws her back in? I almost feel sorry for her - that yo-yo stuff is pretty hard to take - but it was her fault that it came to that.
I hope they throw Sheriff Baca in with her. You know we'd be doing time for contempt of court. Pretty blatant case......book'em, Dano! |

| Ya gotta think that there is something more to this than meets the eye! Come on... she gets released after only what, three days? By the sheriff? For "health reasons"? YEAH RIGHT! Someone got some money, a "good time", or something out of this deal. I just don't buy it... no sheriff or copper that I have EVER met thinks that a criminal (make no mistake, she's a criminal) should get out early. This one wreaks...
Personally, I'm glad that she went back to jail. For the FIRST time in her life, little Paris is gonna learn that she can't have everything her own way. |
