| if you have been reading the hanoi jane thread, you may have read about this gentleman.....i thought i would post this in its own thread, as i didnt believe that it would be apropiate to mr. basilone to include him in the same thread as hanoi's.....enjoy!!! | Chuck, did you know he was my 3rd cousin?? I'm not sure if I mentioned that before in a different thread. They also have a statue of him in Raritan, NJ and an annual parade in his honor. Pretty cool, huh?!

| I agree God bless 'em... Talked with a few Army soldiers yesterday. They're headed for Afghanistan in 1 week. I thanked them for there unselfish protection that they afford us so we can live our lives. They were just greatful to be able to do that for us. I am so proud of our soldiers!!!  |
