| Speaking of burning flags.....I would like to be the one to catch these SOBs in the act. As I said above....Hell ain't hot enough!!
ORCAS ISLAND, Wash. (AP) - Vandals burned dozens of small American flags that decorated veterans' graves for Memorial Day and replaced many of them with hand-drawn swastikas, authorities said Monday.
Forty-six flag standards were found empty and another 33 flags were in charred tatters Sunday in the cemetery, authorities said. Swastikas drawn on paper appeared where 14 of the flags had been.
Members of the American Legion on this island off Washington's northwest coast replaced the burned flags with new ones Sunday afternoon.
The vandals struck again on Memorial Day after a guard left at dawn, the San Juan County sheriff's office said. This time, the vandals left 33 of the hand-drawn swastikas.
"This is not an act of free speech. This is a crime," Sheriff Bill Cumming said in a statement released Monday afternoon.
Investigators believe there's more than one culprit, based on the number of flags that were vandalized, Cumming said in a telephone interview. But authorities have no suspects, he said.
The sheriff said deputies were trying to lift fingerprints off what little physical evidence they were able to recover. |

| Stupid ass little punks that have no idea what the f*ck it's all about. Maybe their parents should have taught them better. I have one "biker friend" that's still all about that sh*t.....he don't get it either. (glad I don't see him often) You wonder where their heads are at..... |

| It most likey is a bunch of little punk kids. There just aren't too many adults that would do something like that. One here and there sure, but it sounds like there are probably like four or five local little punk kids doing it by the numbers and the quickness in which it is getting done.
We had a few cemetaries getting the stones kicked over here. They found that it was a bunch of local kids that had no clue what they were even doing. They were just wrecking stuff to wreck stuff. I have a feeling this may be a similar situation.
I know my dad would have kicked my ass for doing something like that. You know why I know? Because he kicked my ass for much lesser things. That's one of the problems these days. No one kicks thier kids asses when they deserve it for fear that they will get reported to the authorities.......and they probably would to. |

| Yep that just aint right. Someone has certainly been derilict in someones up bringing. I has to be kids probably teens.
Child protective service couldn't get here fast enough if my kids called them on me and they know it.
Hell I called the cops one night 4 or 5 years ago and asked if they had a cruiser they could send by to witness a spanking. That got the boys attention real quick.
Bout 6 months ago the boy thought he was big enough to swing (he's 16 and several inches taller than dad) He took offence to me dressing him down in front of his ignert (yeah I know) friends, he nursed some sore ribs for a while. I had a bad sholder at the time and couldn't use my right arm hardly at all. He thought he had a chance with me hurt. It didn't quite work that way for him. He's real respectfull again now. I don't think I'll need to do any more corrective maint. till he's at least 18 .
I expected it sooner, I was 14 when I got cocky and put in my place. |

| My first thought was kids also but when they said they had placed hand drawn swastikas on paper flags, it kind of sounded like someone with an agenda. There's been a lot of "celebrities" calling our troops terrorist and Nazis so it may have been some of our left wing loonies.
If it was just some kids acting stupid (I did that plenty of times), a good ass kicking may be what is needed. If it was an organization with something to say at our fallen soldier's expense, then they need a lot more than an ass kicking. It sounds like the local police are taking this seriously and want to make an arrest. If I see any more on it, I'll let y'all know.

| Well, I know my dad never did sh*t as far as discipline but mom sure beat my ass when I needed/deserved it, and lord knows I had both. Good thing for her. Luckily, or unluckily, I have 2 girls so there'll be no "ass" kicking, but they are definitely afraid of what might happen if I find out. Just like one of my friends said to his son when he threatened to call DYFS (division of youth and family services) he said " go ahead, it'll be the last call you ever make from this house, you will be in military school the next morning" Needless to say, his son put the phone down and took his punishment (whatever it was at the time) like an adult. We need to be able to discipline these "bored" kids. I am so tired of all these little punk ass f*cks saying*they do sh*t because they're bored. How bout getting a f**king JOB!!
Sorry, off on a rant. Anyway, I hope it wasn't some assh*le adults with an agenda. That would be an embarrassment, and call for some empty shell casings....if you know what I mean
Ok, I'm done now. Sorry again |
