Can't stand to see "paris Hilton" as the most recent entry.

So what ya think of the immigration bill? Seems lame to me, trying to do too much before anything is really done. Or who should be next president? Ya can't be too excited about any Dems, as one guy has run a non-profit as his credentials, one was a ambulance chaser, and the last was famous for pretending not to have a clue about A. husband's affairs; B. Miraculous financial investements; C. Anything else that has occurrred over the last 57 years.

The Repubs make ya wonder, too. Thompson is interesting, but a little mysterioous. Guliani seems like he could get it done. Cunningham is probably my favorite, but has little chance of being popular enough.

But really, I just wanted to bump Paris off the lead. Ya'll have a good day'night/year/life!

So, yo wanna pump Paris where? In the Hilton would be good

The immigration bill sux big time. Let's say we're going to build a fence, fund it, start it, yank funding and wave a banner saying now let's all be friends?

I wrote Senator McCain and tod him he could forget my vote if he keeps flogging that dead horse.

I would get a real kick out of a non scripted, rigged, fraudulent open poll in any Arizona city with a simple question like:
Do you want a border fence, sealed border andless crime?
Sorry, no illegals allowed to participate and if you show well, you get a one way ride South.

I say we build a fence like they have in some of the banks, with a little twist .... as soon as they get half way across the river, vibrations in the water cause a bullet-proof plexiglass fence about 30 feet high to pop straight out of the water. no way to climb that sucker if your wet & no way to dig under it on a breath of air... by the way Im gonna copyright that thought now. Just in case....

If a water pipe should bust in your house, what would you do first.......clean up the mess or fix the pipe? Most smart folks would fix the pipe. That's what we've got to do with this flood of illegals flowing over the border. Stop the flow and then clean up the mess.
Every illegal that is found by whatever means should be deported or jailed immediately. They find them now and then turn them loose again. In some states they are even issueing them drivers licenses!! They don't want them breaking the law by driving without a license. I know this is an overwhelming problem but it has been allowed to go on for much too long. I won't vote for anyone that won't take a stand on this issue.

JMHO, but it seems the simplest solution rather than mass deportation would be to close the borders and enforce the laws making it illegal to hire anyone illegally in this country. If employers start getting hit hard they'll stop hiring illegals and that job market will dry up. Without jobs the flow would cease and maybe even create an exodus back in the other direction.

One more thing, I'm really sick of hearing the words undocumented immigrant. It is a contradiction in terms. An immigrant by definition of our laws has migrated to this country legally, so you can't be "undocumented" or even an "illegal immigrant". The term "Illegal Alien" is not derogatory but a factual term for being in this country illegally. If it walks like a duck...

Well I just heard this morning that the Feds are starting to crack down on illegal immigrants here in Massachusetts, one of the states where the Governor wants to issue illegals driver's licenses.

Apparently, 36 "criminal aliens" were arrested over the last couple of weeks or so.

Quote from the Boston, Channel 5 Web Site:

Fourteen were allegedly lawful residents with criminal records. Immigration officials say 16 had ignored deportation orders, four were charged with being in the country illegally and another two returned to the U.S. after being deported.

Later in the article they say that all of them are facing hearings that may lead to deportation. We'll see. I wasn't aware you could "ignore" deportation orders. Isn't that sort of like ignoring a jail sentence? I kind of figured someone would at least supervuse a deportation. What do they do just tell these people, "OK, see ya later........oh yeah........don't forget to leave the country on the 25th........have a nice day."

My 16 year old son and I had this conversation last night. He didn't understnad why it pisses me off so.

Once I explained to him how it was putting a finacial strain on our Health systems, court systems and School systems he began to understand. Tell me exactly how we (USA or Az) should be responsible for teaching illegals english. They are dragging down the oportunities for my children in class because they have to teach to the lowest common denominator.

If we kick out all the illegals our insurance would be lower. There would be 100,000 less cars on the road every day (just in AZ alone), and I'll bet you dollars to donuts we'd have a fuel surplus

I never thought I'd see $3.00 a gallon gas, at least not in this country, seel the border, send the criminals home and I'll gladly pay $3.00 a head for lettuce.

I grow my own lettuce! Easiest crop around, and doesn't taste like plastic when you pick it fresh in the morning.

Secure the border first. Deport second. Then de-red tape real, American-wannabe immigration so it ain't an unholy pain. Good people should be allowed to join in the fun...but it would be better if they just changed their homelands into a place they want to live in. We've nothing that the other countries don't have, except more freedom. Unless the lefties get their way, that is.

Sounds like Red's got a sweet deal! Check this, my wife doesn't go to the gym, but, she cuts our grass, (not because I make her or anything), and we have probably 1-1/2 acres we cut! AND, about 1/4 of it she does by push mower cause of the grade! (crazy ass, ain't she??!!, but she loves it) Sorry guys, no sister either. (I did just buy her a new self propelled mower though)

Illegals.....We don't need no stinkin illegals

I used to mow the grass with one of them old hand push mowers....you know the kind with the blade that spins around....I used to get a kick out of it...the neighbors (& my kids) all looked at me like I was insane. Only thing is..you go over a stick & it was like tossing a bar into the spokes of your bike...stops ya in your tracks....so I kinda gave up on it...saves on gas though, & environmentally friendly for all you global warming alarmists.
