| When I read that they wanted Santa not to say ho, ho, ho, I thought to myself WHAT THE F*CK is this country coming to!?!? Jesus Ch*ist, now it's f*cking Santa Claus they're bitchin about. For pete's sake, It's a fictional character!!! WAKE UP PEOPLE!!!! For me, like Chuck said, Merry Christmas, Ho Ho Ho, whatever, everyone celebrates something this time of year. Celebrate whatever you want, just don't tell me I can't say Merry Christmas to somebody. Did everybody forget what principle this country was founded on!?!? Ok rant over, sorry, I have just had it with all this political correctness BULLSH*T!
(ok just a few deep breathes and I'll be fine, I promise....) |

| So, Send a Christmas card!!! Got this email tonite.....must might do it! but certainly can not hurt to forward the intent!!! Enjoy!
Nurse
Yes a Christmas cards. This is coming early so that you can get ready to include an important address to your list. Wanna have some fun this CHRISTMAS? Send the ACLU a CHRISTMAS CARD this year.
As they are working so very hard to get rid of the CHRISTMAS part of this holiday, we should all send them a nice CHRISTIAN card to brighten up their dark, sad, little world. Make sure it says "Merry Christmas" on it.
Here's the address, just be sure to be kind.
ACLU
125 Broad Street
18th Floor
New York, NY 10004
Two tons of Christmas cards would freeze their operations because they wouldn't know if any were regular mail containing contributions. So spend 41 cents and tell the ACLU to leave Christmas alone. Also tell them that there is no such thing as a "Holiday Tree". It's a CHRISTMAS TREE!
And pass this on to your other email lists! For those of you who aren't aware of them, the ACLU, (the American Civil Liberties Union) is the one suing the U.S. Government to take God, Christmas or anything Christian away from us. They represent the atheists and others in this war. Help put Christ back in Christmas! |

| I am debating between the 41 cents or the 41$ (100 stamps)...... have a real nice message inside....nothing truely offensive, except to their way of thinking.....no foul language, but reminding them that this country was founded on CHRISTIAN RELIGIOUS FREEDOM.....nothing in there about allah or budda or any of them others! In God We Trust is only plastered across everything in the govt....sad to knock down all the monuments due to that! |

| ain't nobody doing anyting to us, we are doing it to our selves by not fighting back and letting the masses hear our voice that is all these other people are doing, we have no one else to blame but ourselves for trying to be politicly correct, kind, etc. I am not one to candy coat much but the few that aren't afraid to be american, are like a barn swallow chirpping in a closed barn in the country, it can't be heard.
as for the athiest community, your entitled to your opinion, you just better hope your right. satanism, you also are intitled to your religon also, but may god spare your soul. and that is my opinion.
oh by the way, if you don't like reading my opinion then get off this page, it,s as simple as that.. |

More people need to get involved in what's going on in this country. I said it before, there are three kinds of people. Those that make things happen, Those that watch what happens, and those that wonder happened. I choose to be in the first catagory. I am totally involved in many aspects of what our govenment is trying to do. From the illlegal immgration issues to the proposed Mexican super highway and the behind the seens push to combine the US, Canada, and Mexico into the North American Union.
I think the majority of us are true Americans. But there are to many people in this country the watch and wonder catagories. They all go through their daily ho-hum lives of cell phones, palm pilots, and Ipods, thinking life is good. Then one day they'll stop to pick up a 6 pack of beer only to find that they now need Amero's instead of dollars to make their purchase. Then they'll get pi$$ed and wonder happen. Then next they'll want to blame someone for what happened. When all the time it was happening they had their head up their a$$.
I'm tired of all the liberal socialist F#CKS that are trying to unravel the fabric of this country. If you don't like the manger or bably Jesus on my front lawn, then I suggest you drive down a different f#$king street. I wouldn't let anyone come into my home and try to destroy the things that I worked hard to build. We should not let anyone in this country destory what our ancestors built. This the UNTIED STATES OF AMERICA, we believe in God and country. We celebrate Christmas and many other holidays. We want Santa to say ho ho ho and if you don't like it, then go back to where ever it is you came from.
I've got the back of anyone who believes in this country and will stand up and fight for who we are. As far as the rest, they can go f#ck themselves.
Sorry for the long rant but this sh&t just Pi$$ess me off. And AFNurse, you can bet I'll be sending some Christmas Cards to the ACLU. I only wish I could route them by Ted Kazinsky for a final post mark before they go to the ACLU. If I knew I cold make this this happen, I would send the bast$#d's 500 fu#king cards. I just know one day I'm going to look out of my front window and see a few SUV's with blacked out windows in front of my house. But ya know what, I don't care.
OK..I'm done, thanks for listening. |

| I can't believe how many people get upset about our rights to express ourselves..it's a free country for God's sake. I'm not so sure about our country being founded on christian beliefs, as they made sure to state the separation of church and state (one of my few beefs with Bush as I hate the religious right and I'm Republican). Saying "In God We Trust" isn't saying God is specifically christian, since pretty much every religion has a God. But we do have the right to free speech and expression, so who cares if someone says "Merry Christmas"..it's their constitutional right. |

| You go Ringo!! I'm with you as well, I'm just not as involved as maybe I should be. I hate politics and politicians, but obviously they are trying to change things here and we NEED to protect our rights. As stated before, you can celebrate any holiday you want, just don't tell me that I can't say Merry Christmas or have the nativity set in my yard, cause I'm gonna say F*CK YOU! It should be noted however that I'm not overly religious, and never have been, even though I went to church every Sunday until I was 12, and my mom taught Sunday school. I just think it's bullsh*t to tell me what I can/can't say to another person. Ok, rant over, sorry! |

| Not going to apologize for the long post/rant, if’n you don’t want to read it skip to the next post. Also all of my statements are in general and in NO way trying to point a finger at any of the good people I have met here on BT.
First off it isn’t the American people, setting on their cans doing nothing that is taking America down this path. There are those with a definite desire to see the demise of the American Way. They have spent countless dollars getting into their positions in our government, and countless hours implementing their plans. We have been sold out. The corporations and their lawyers have taken over America. The unions driving the labor costs up so their fat rats on the top can keep getting paid, while the union has out lived its purpose, while the worker really realizes very little extra with each pay raise. The bleeding hearts (not mentioning that blood is coming from the working middle class) who feel the minimum wage must be $7 an hour, driving up the price of bread and butter items we all need to survive because there is more disposable income in the economy. Yeah there are more dollars but what is the dollar worth today, compared to 1950? In the day when gas prices never dreamed of seeing even $1 a gallon much less over $3 and upwards of $4 we have today. I am sure many on here can recall bread being less than $1 a loaf.
However, this started with the use of HO HO HO by Santa. This more falls into our younger generation inability to speak proper English. If they feel I am insulting their young ladies (term used very loosely, much like them) then maybe they should get bent at the young guys calling themselves pimps. As we all know pimps run with whores as these slackers would say Hos. Not my fault. As I am one of the original scrooge bastards in this world, I could care less if Santa was done away with completely. Telling our children lies about some fat f*ck in a red suit bringing presents down a chimney simply gives them good reason to lie to us later. Eye for an eye, doesn’t just apply to adults fair is fair no matter how you cut it. Personally I feel Mo Mo Mo would be very appropriate for Santa as that would be the slackers slang for MORE and that is what everyone wants anymore anyway.
I get really ticked with all these religious zealots coming out on topics they only understand from what Aunt Sally told them anyway. I hate what Christmas has turned into with a purple passion. Take a man who’s life’s work was spent teaching kindness, and preaching against greed, and turn his B-day (moved by the Church to more coincide with the pagan holidays for convenience and converts) into the biggest of greed fests known to man. If Christmas is about Jesus’ spirit of giving then how come it is only on Dec 25th that we get all up on it, shouldn’t it be 364.25 a year? If I care enough about someone to want to give to them then I don’t care if it is May 18th, if the spirit tells me to give I do. I spend a lot of my otherwise free time helping friends all year. I buy my friends things I see throughout the year and give to them. Why hold it until Dec 25? What if they don’t make it to Dec 25? As riders we have to know life can stop very early in the year, in a blink of an eye. Also if someone is truly your friend, why would they all collectively want you to burden yourself financially just to give them some “gift” on the same day? It is this feeling that the corporations feed on, GUILT. They are the ones who truly prosper from browbeating us into submission through guilt to spend spend spend mo mo mo.
I do get mad when someone tells me, ”You can’t say that”. Whatever I said at that point is usually followed by, “ F*CK Y*U, can I say that A$$HOLE?” It is a free country and it will remain a free country so long as FREE men and women are willing to say FU to those that want to tell them what to do. I ain’t no one’s slave, not now, not ever. /off |

| I agree to. If people don't like people saying merry Christmas then they all can go F themselves. I'll say HO HO HO just to spite the bastards. I probably live in the most left wing, panty wearing, tree hugging state in the Union. You know what my legislators are debating today?? If I, as a parent, can spank my child. Can you freakin believe that!!! IF I CAN SPANK MY CHILDREN!!! We are talking spanking NOT physical abuse or assault. There are already laws for that! OH boy, I need another blood pressure pill!! |

| I actually wrote a long rant, then stepped back and gave this some more thought. I've had the opportunity to meet a lot of different people in this country from all different walks of life. People ranging from Buddhists to Muslims, atheists to born-again Christians, capitalists to socialists. One of the most interesting things I discovered about all of these vastly different people is that none of them believes that the ACLU has ever had their best interest in mind. Some actually believe that groups like the ACLU are truly hate groups themselves, targeting Christian beliefs in hopes that retaliation will be directed toward those who are falsely represented by the ACLU.
To me what it all comes down to is, any attack on a religious freedom is an attack on ALL freedoms and beliefs. Taking shots at a belief, such as something considered typically Christian, causes a backlash against those who have a different belief. There's a big difference between persecution and exclusion, and it seems to me that the ACLU thinks that excluding someone's belief is instead a persecution of someone's freedom.
The majority of black americans don't think "ho-ho-ho" is derogatory, and every Buddhist and atheist I know will respond with a "Merry Christmas to you too" when greeted that way. I don't pay attention to the ACLU and their supposed persecuted poster-child victims, its all a big sham to make money through frivolous lawsuits. Whenever I hear about another ACLU lawsuit, I pause and take a deep breath, then I consider the source and move on.
Hmmm, looks like a wrote a rant anyway... oh well
Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Happy Vesak, Blessed Eid... Play ball!
