Come January 1st 2008 it is gonna get interesting.
Illegal immigrants packing up and leaving Arizona - CNN.com

'Course the illegal legal beagles will gripe, file lawsuits and get air time but....Here's hoping a judge with BALLS tells 'em where to plant it.

It's about time. The next question is.....Will they really go back home or to a state with a "friendlier environment". I'm afraid it may be the latter in most cases. They know what they're going back to so why go back. Just move on to Georgia, Alabama or any other state that hasn't caught on yet. I am glad that Arizona has started them migrating to somewhere.

No way, something like this could never happen in this crying liberal politically correct society crap that us honest citizens are forced to deal with.

Well it's about flippin time! The illegal's are not as big of a problem here in Michigan as they are in the south west, but their still a problem all the same. Hope these kind of laws get passed accross the entire country.

Once we get rid of the illegal's then we can move on to the ACLU and all the political a$$wipes that support them.

Word has it the illegals are leaving to go back to Mexico or other states (read NV is gonna see an influx) in droves. Good for AZ. Even that democrat governer signed off on this legislation, and the judge decided not to halt or overturn it for the better good. This should be federal legislation..not state.

The feds will probably have to study the AZ law, watch it for a few years and then after all the red tape bull they would then argue in Congress then the Senate and then the next President would have to approve it. To be honest to make it a federal law it would be slim at best. Would be nice if they would but I won't hold my breath,

Actually there is such a law being proposed that would result in cutting off federal funds to sanctuary states. Also in the bill (I don't have a number maybe someone can help me there I just heard it on the news) is a provision that any ID issued by a state to an illegal will not be considered valid. We need a governor in Tx like Arizona's Sheriff Joe. AL

It would really be nice if they could actually get a handle on this huge issue. You listen to the news here and I would say that over 90% of the crimes reported on the news involve illegal aliens. An unbelievable soring amount of rape cases involve illegal aliens. The drug cases are almost all illegal aliens.

Unfortunately, Oregon would probably be one of the last states to pass any kind of legislation as the politicians here are to much of the bleeding hearts types. The feds did a sting operation at a Delmonte food plant here in Portland and arrested something like 30-50 illegals working there. Now the city of Portland just passed a special resolution to provide emergency funds for those families left behind (yep more illegals) for food and housing costs. Gee, don't you think they should have been deported also.

One HELL of a big mess. A local station did a piece on volunteers cleaning land out off of I10 and Vail road. At the far edge of the populated area and lots of land to hide dozens of illegals. Something like 8 tons of trash all in one area. Remember all the bleeding hearts talking about "they just are peaceful people looking for work...."?? The station showed a "rape" tree where the coyotes (smugglers) raped females for fun. It shows their "machismo"....
I'd rather show them a 30.06 from the wrong end of my M1.

The good thing is that the more things like this are in the news, the more citizens want to stop them at the border.

We have hispanics that own homes on both sides of us and they hate the illegals and what they represent more than I do. Their parents did it right and paid their dues so their children could be Americans. Both families speak fluent spanish and English. They are proud of who they are and feel that illegals have a negative impact on their culture.

Right after I moved here there was a news story about an illegal in Vail that stabbed another guy. Apparently he was on probation for some other crime. I'm baffled how the guy is an illegal and has been convicted of a crime and is still here. How can that be justified? Oh, and the best part, he's not in jail now either.

Come on now Hot.....you wouldn't want to infringe on his "rights" would you? If we put him in jail we'd be paying for him, 3 hots and a cot if you're familiar with that terminology. That piece of sh*t should have been shot already....

especially if you use .22 LR

I spent WAY to much of my day today at work trying to find one of 3 co-workers that speak that second language that some think is the other American language..... I wanted SO bad to just give them the CLICK....BUZZZ treatment (hang up). I am quite sure that I would have been in BIG trouble.....would have almost been worth it...but..... Cops even came up for one of them....asking if the patient was illigal...told them that "that is what I had heard, however, I had not proven"......cop left the floor without talking to the patient.....probabably didn't speak the espanyoll....... I am abolututly sick with the amount of money that the DOD is spending to treat illigals......just cuz we have a contract with San Antonio to provide 1/3 of the Trauma 1 coverage for the city......makes me sick....if they want to provide me with training, in addition to their illness/injury, put a couple of 5.56 or 7.62 rounds into them.....THAT will give me combat training!
