No matter WHO says WHAT....it was just wrong....someone needs to hang for that one......

That bimbo that states "everyone needs to be screened by TSA standards" has NO clue as to what the military is. The fact that she has a cush job is because we do what we do! Screening by military for interenational probably exceedes the TSA simply due to knowing that EVERY member that is flying has/had access to things that go "BOOM!"..... not just the random oops! She is so clueless and Needs some re-education and maybe a new job at a local quickie mart pumping gas......

Unbelievable. How could that happen? How could there be enough people that thought that was justified that someone didn't stick their neck out and bring them in?

Take a deep breath, ya'll - this is pretty old news (note the October date) and has been addressed at Oakland.

Now the bad news is that while the vast majority of servicemembers are fantastic, there are some not-so-nice amongst 'em. In my spook days I saw some gun & drug runners in uniform. Sometimes they had accomplices working on the customs side...in fact, usually. So a double-screening may have been called for by NCIS, OSI or some other agency without wanting to announce it. Don't know about this particular case, but it wouldn't surprise me if there had been a real reason that the authorities would never announce.

I've been stuck on tarmacs around the world post-mission, and while it is never a good time, it beats the heck out of an extra few hours in injun country. And if there is one thing ya get good at in the service, it is waiting!

Yep, old news, I remember this incident, was a bad deal all around.
Red rider, as I told you before I did two tours in VQ-1, and I heard all about the drug running, that was a long time ago.

Man what a blow job that is.

I still remember coming back from Viet Nam and was in uniform walking through the San Francisco terminal and a women and her kid spit on me. That made me feel real welcome back. All Vets need to be treated with the up most respect where ever they are.

I went on a PGR ride Monday to see off about 200 Marines leaving from Chattanooga, TN. These were reserves being called up to active duty. I know I am getting old because these guys looked like they ought to be going to a high school football game instead of to war. It was a very emotional departure but the families and citizens of the area gave them a wonderful send off. We escorted them to the airport but they had to go directly to the tarmac and bypass the terminal to load the plane. Of course, most of them had M16s on their shoulder so that might not have gone too well in the terminal.
I know what Red is saying. While we consider all our soldiers heroes, some are going to try to get away with something. After a deployment when we visited foreign countries, we would fly the planes to the base before the ship docked. We were always met by customs agents to search our stuff. Some didn't look at anything but some had you take it all out. Better safe than sorry.

I really feel for all those going in harms way as I'm afraid that after the Demos take control which may very likely could happen that they will pull us out to fast. If we are pulled out to fast then all the sacrifices made by Americans over there will be lost.

Yep, roger that. I've been dieing to go kick some ass since 9/11. They don't need me back and don't want old fat men. I get my blood lust up and have to go kill varmints (4 legged instead of 2).

The absolute worst I was ever treated in uniform was in the Bay Area. I despised having to fly in there. Spit on, called names, I won't even go into the deviants hitting on me, and I'm not talking returning from Nam. This was in the 80s.

Yep, that bay area has always left a bad impression on me and really don't care if I ever go back.
