| Maybe we should have a "Recipe Forum"? I'll start it -
Start with a hot, lonely highway (Nevada HWY 50 comes to mind). Wait till the second week in July. Ride out to somewhere between no where & BF Egypt - but make sure it isn't too windy. Drop some eggs (shells optional, and the health nuts can just drop the whites) on to the searing pavement. Grab your Buck, K-Bar or CRKT and scrape & eat. Mmmmmmmm - better than week-old road kill! |

It can be dangerous in corners as they make the road so slippery. Almost lost it once going over the summit just east of Eureka. |

| Those crickets are waaay slippery and disgusting. But for an absolute creep-out, try running through the tarantula migration near Gabbs! I don't ever want to hit 'em, but they don't exactly hurry to cross the road, and waiting it out just invites 'em onto your ride - or your boots. |

| I dunno bout crickets and spiders and all that stuff, but I AM a very good cook. I also happen to make home made breads, pies and cakes as well. Nothing wrong with being a good cook......I'm part Italian and I LOVE to eat! |

| Shinner Bock is dark beer. Mud Bugs are crawfish. When they are in season we can get them live here at HEB supermarket otherwise I can usually trap some, nothing like La. though. AL |

| They have an annual Crawfish feed in the town of Tualatin Oregon. They catch them by the buckets in the Tualatin River. They are native to many streams here but the slow moving and sometimes muddy looking Tualatin River is the best for them here. I remember as a kid filling traps with rotted meat and coming back and the traps would be full of them. |
