Hell, I should've bought Valero (they have a lot of gas stations in Calif, not sure well else much) stock a few years ago. At a split adjusted price from '03 to '06, it multiplied 700%, though it's dropped a little of late, that's a chunk of change.

Instead, I've made a good bit on Sandisk (largest maker of memory cards for digital cameras, iPods, flash memory, etc) over the years buying and selling it (the best being buying at a split adjusted price of $9 and selling for $78 in about 3 years time).
