I got an email from HD yesterday, and the Harley Davidson CVO Breakout looked interesting. I couldn't tell if it was based on a Softail design or a Dyna, or what. Anyone know anything about it, other than it's really expensive?

No visable rear shocks tells you it's a Softail

I know I got plenty of em. Just don't like the looks of the fairing on the front of the Roadglide. I know there a pretty good ride, different strokes for different folks.:)

I rode a Fat Boy a couple of weeks back, and was surprised at how much fun it was. I thought it would be too low, as other softails weren't comfortable, but perhaps the floor boards helped, as my Dynas always had footpegs. Not that I can afford something like the CVO Breakout, but it sure looks nice, and it's fun to think I could ride it if I could afford one. Of all the Softails, only The Rocker seemed comfortable, but I've never ridden one.

:) A Harley dealer will let you test ride one.

It does look a bit like a Street Bob and a Vrod had a baby. Those lights on the CVO Softail do look a little weird, they remind me of those cheap little speakers we used to buy for our computers.

Rocker is gone, also this year they get rid of the "dual sport" Sporty
which I kinda liked but never wrote the check. Figured it would be a hoot in traffic
or on the mountain roads, dirt with some knobbies.

You still playing the music scene?

I've begun recording at home. It's been a difficult learning curve, using digital programs, the last time I recorded myself, I pushed "record" on a tape recorder, it's been that long. Still, it's going well, and I'll have something to show and put out there in 3-6 months. One reason I've put off getting a new bike, is getting the music together has taken priority, but hopefully the music will generate enough income to get a bike sooner than later.
