I had an HD salesman tell me that the engine was going to be cooled at the exhaust port. Way cool, I got good information. I think that I will like it that is for sure. Thanks for sharing that. Now I am just excited to what they do with the Road Glide!

Funny saw that this morning on my Email from Harley but you beat me to it. The cooling is a welcome and sounds as if they have a bit more power. Wonder what if any what the HP gains are. The linked brakes are what the Goldwings have had for many years, even had it on a 89 Goldwing we had. They work very well, about time HD caught up.
If you get a new bike HRK your gonna have to get an IPhone. :couchpotato:

You don't have to, it comes up with ignore or accept call buttons,
or just don't link the bt to the radio, your call.

My guess is a ton of people want it that way you can stream your
pandora or mp3 songs from the phone vs having to manage another
    iCrap device.

Watch the video I posted a link to, it shows the new radio, pretty cool..
GPS included, another feature you can ignore LOL

I watched the whole video early this morning before I even read your post. There are many things included now with the new touring bikes that came standard on my 2012 CVO.

Harley has stated that the engine is liquid cooled but does not state if that is oil or water cooled. I read where it has a 1.1 quart radiator between the down tubes.

I'd like to try the Street Glide just so I can get a comparison with the Chieftan that I rode. They'd have to do some serious tweaking to get that 103 to run like the Indian. When I first read about the integrated brake system I had a bit of a panic attack until I read that it didn't take place untill the bike was going 20 mph. Still though, not a big fan, I prefer them to be separate. I do like the ABS though

I remember when doing tests with the linked system on the Honda Goldwing that we could not get the rear tire to lock up when only applying the rear brak hard at a speed of 40. But the bike would stop much quicker in a certain distance than a older Goldwing without the linked braking system. So with that I think its a good system. It's also good that it does not kick in until the speed is higher so that slow maneuvers can still be controlled with the rear brake.

Water cooled, there are two radiators in the lowers, supposedly they are designed so
that the hot air coming off them is routed away from the rider.

Believe that when I ride one down here in hells kitchen during the summer...

I'm guessing that in the second image the box at the bottom is an electric pump
to move the fluids I'd guess they test the crap out of it and if it reduces heat
    thats great...

Funny how HD has been so mum about it. Guess they don't want people saying Water Cooled I Won't Buy One. But those exhaust do get really hot even without the cat.
