They still remind me to much of a Goldwing. Had one and did not like the handlebars turning inside the fairing.

ummm...... I like the changes and I'm glad it's back for those that like the Road Glide.
But, it's just not for me. I'm just not feeling it.

Yeah . . . "menacing" and "vengeance" are not the way I'd be describing the new RG.

That's cool, so from a marketing stand point how would you describe it?

It seems to me the RG is made mostly for geezers, at least that's who I see riding the older ones. So maybe the ad could read "The RG is back with a wheeze with sedate styling" LOL.

I see plenty of younger guys riding them so I can't really agree with that meaning. Do you realize how heavy a full dress bike is? The older guys revert back to bikes that are smaller, with no fairing.

Yeah, they are heavy. Just for fun, I went in the opposite direction of Harley's ad. I guess they are appealing to the younger crowd to buy the RG? And this is one old fart who went with a lighter bike with no fairing LOL.

I guess I am going to wait till I see one in person. My initial response is this. Really? They stopped production for a year for this? Looks just like the other Rushmore Project bikes.

And what is it you don't like about the Rushmore bikes?

I wouldn't say that I dislike the Rushmore bikes, but being a Road Glide rider, I was anticipating something more bold, especially for stopping production of the Road Glide for a full year. That just seems really pointless to me considering what they offerd. JMO.

It is really just a Street Glide with a different fairing. So I agree with you, about why did they stop production. I wonder if the Road Glide sales numbers are at the level where HD is on the fence about keeping it in the line up at all. But if it is cheap enough to make with only a few changes from the SG then they keep selling it if the numbers are there. I guess.

I guess I would have to correct you. The street glide is basically a Road glide. The road glide has been around way longer.

I doubt they would have put the production money
in play to redesign the RG if they were thinking of killing
    it off.

I wouldn't want a standard HD bagger with the faring
on the bars, it's too close up and looks very old man (LOL)

RG has a sporty look, the new one seems nice, not that I'd sell
the CVO for a standard one, now maybe a new CVO.

If it improves the air flow over my head I'd be interested

Trading my Street Glide, which is a fancied up Electric Glide Standard, for a Road Glide would be like trading my Vette for a station wagon, JMO
