Got the mule put back together just in time to attend the Redding CA Big bike weekend rally. Patty and I jumped on our electra glide and started out on our not so long trip to Redding ( 20 miles ) We parked at Turtle Bay next to the convention center and the new Sundial bridge. First things first. I had to go strait to the event vender to get our event pin lol. Attendence was record setting hundreds of bikes and bikers. The first event was pretty good. The biker course competision. We watched as they rode their large bikes through a tight course. This one guy would stop like at a stop light and his feet would never touch the ground. Pretty good balance if you ask me. The army paracute team jumped with a huge American flag and hit the mark right on. The Oakland motorcycle police showed off their drill team. Lots more but my favorite was when they closed off Hilltop Drive and we all rode our bikes up and down town with a police escort. We ended up the night at chevy's parking lot for the big party. We didn't stay to long. We don't drink much and none at all when were riding. We are getting ready to go back today. The Hogz chili cook off and christian bike blessing today. Not real religous but I not going to turn down anything to do with prayer or luck riding on the roads these days. ;)

Sounds like a good time. This is a great time of year up in Redding, which can get pretty dang hot in the Summer and even see snow in the Winter. I haven't seen the new Sundial bridge yet..supposed to be a work of art.
